    Suspicious Friend Requests on Facebook

    Suspicious Friend Requests
    https://youtu.be/6ybdP8XuxXE

My first time dealing with targeted harassment from a group. On Facebook, for a period that went on at least 2 weeks, random people would come on to my account and just troll...STUPIDLY

I have a fair amount of experience with trolls so I simply blocked the person(s) and just moved on. Except that wasn't it. All of sudden I was getting strange friend requests from people I didn't know but when I looked at their profiles they were all classic leftists and likely extreme ones at that.

This just goes to show you that you need to be wary of friend requests on Facebook.

Re: Suspicious Friend Requests on Facebook

When I first joined FB it was still pretty new and most people seemed genuine. I still didn't like it and deleted my account quickly. The last time I gave it a go for lack of anything better to do I was alarmed at how many fakes and scammers there were. FB are under scrutiny at the moment in Australia due to the bullying, harassment etc by trolls and fakes.

I keep a normie Facebook mostly as a firewall to identity theft. But I don't do much with it and I don't accept friend requests from anyone I've never met face-to-face at least once. Those policies seem to reduce the amount of crap I have to deal with on Facebook.

If I don't know you in real life, you aren't getting accepted.

Even then I'll log in like maybe once a year so who gives a shit lol.

Why on earth would anyone accept a friend request from someone who wasn't already a friend?

Re: Suspicious Friend Requests on Facebook

I had a Facebook account in 2013, but for a few days and it started to scare me because people I didn't know where showing up. I wanted to stay in contact with distant relatives and my best friend from childhood, but I gave it all up due to strangers showing up and looking at my private content.
It's a man's world and we need to take it by the throat and make it give us what we desire.

A friend did a search once. Said I was a real estate salesman in one state, a retired cop in another. The best one was I'm a child molester who owns a summer camp. Talk about convenient... I've never signed up, nor is my name that common. But I guess it's more common than I thought.
Every day I make the world a little bit worse.
