Man hobbies & craftsmanship. Wood working for starters.

So I have to make a few corrections to my unfinished les paul guitar body so that a couple things can properly fit. Itís been relaxing learning the chiseling process & various techniques including how to sharpen blades. It got me thinking that maybe I can take up fine woodwork as a hobby & sell the shit. Anything that keeps me productive outside of music is a great distraction for my mind that prevents bs invading it. Anyone have experience with woodwork? If so, do you enjoy it? Care to mention a cool project? If my guitar goes well, I might do more guitars or craft other things & start small.

Search the web for wood crafting, carving, and such, there's a plethora of knowledge and skill offered for free!

Making stupid shit that women buy would be a good place to start, and get a woodstove in case you fail!
Any man that seeks leadership outside himself has a fool for a guide.

Leatherworks my thing. I can make nice stuff, but it takes too long to be worth selling, when you consider most people want everything cheap. I've sold a few things for a fair price, but it was usually friends being nice. My guess is most hobbies are about the same.

If you could speed up production, that would help. But then it's work, not a hobby. Another stumbling block is tools. I'm no expert, but high grade woodworking is something that could cost a lot. Specially if you want to do things faster.
Every day I make the world a little bit worse.
