    The Fat Acceptance Cult

If you watch the following video, you'll go blind if you don't use eye bleach.

I want to make a MGTOW point about this subject. When a woman is fat, she wants to be accepted; but a fat man is humiliated.

I haven't watched the video but the regressive 'fat acceptance' or 'fat pride' movement is one of the more obvious signals of the Wests cultural decline.

Promoting a dangerously unhealthy lifestyle as if it were a positive... It is literally 1984 double-think right for everyone to see.

What's worse is they become a burden on the healthcare system in future - they'll ask for more resources (similar to breast cancer research funding) in order to help 'solve' the problem, which will be blown up all out of proportion (similar to breast cancer), and suck up research funding from other causes; they'll also blame men (the patriarchy) for their health issues and problems, and some will attempt to sue companies whose products they regularly consumed.

I don't know what is it about being morbidly obese that these women enjoy. I mean it's gross, ugly, miserable, painful and unhealthy and slow suicide. There's nothing good about it. Men want hotties, not fatties or uglies.

We have a national health system here in the UK so somebody who's completely irresponsible and destroys their body with food, cigarettes or whatever is entitled to the same level of care as someone who takes reasonable measures to look after themselves. It's incredibly stretched and we also have skyrocketing levels of obesity. Sooner or later people are going to have to wake up and smell the roses. I suspect it will get so bad here they will have to actively campaign against obesity and I'm very much looking forward to all the triggering.

I don't think they enjoy it at all really - being ridiculed and avoided by the opposite sex, getting out of breath all the time, all sorts of health problems. Most must know it's wiping years off their lifespan. It's just laziness and denial, that's all.

If we weren't so painfully soft as a society, it would be shameful.

If fat people don't enjoy it, then why are they acting like it's great and they need to be accepted?

I think it's a cope personally. It's easier to pretend to enjoy it and act as though it's 'just part of your identity' than it is to change your diet, go to the gym etc.

Like we often hear the term White Privilege I see obesity as a sign of privilege. Western societal Privilege. Only in the western societies can a person consume enough food to become obese.

It is quite something to live in such an abudant society and then blame that same society for the fact you cannot regulate your own calorie intake or do basic cardio.

They shut their brain off and eat. I've seen women have entire conversations they don't remember at dinner because their eyes went blank and just inhaling poutine. Bag of chips with Grey's!! Shark week 10 chocolate bars and ice cream. Pure laziness trying to get by on looks.

The Left is all about getting society to accept what is wrong and unnatural and then making the "new normal". So it only makes sense they would want obesity to also be normal. You will end up having fit healthy people being shamed which I believe already happens to some degree.

As someone who has had weight issues themselves I can tell you the problems that can occur due to being fat and they aren't anything to be accepted.

Already happening in the UK at least... They took down a poster of a fit attractive woman in a bikini from the London underground as it triggered the fatties and the feminists. Shameful. I swear they hate attractive women even more than they hate men.

Many of these "fat is beautiful" types are the same one who screech nonstop about "believing the experts".

Well, "the experts" say that obesity is a gigantic (so to speak) health risk and people should exercise regularly while maintaining a proper diet. Apparently tho, that kind of medical expertise is a tool of the patriarchy or something.

Meh - this is nothing new. In LA, back in 1989, I came across the 'National Association for the Advancement of Fat Acceptance' - guess California was always ahead on the fruits n' nuts curve.

I've taken fat acceptance to a whole new level with my new reactor tank for biodiesel! How come the fruitcakes don't like me? I solved EVERYTHING!

    Re: The Fat Acceptance Cult

@ResidentEvil, please! Next time give us an explicit and bold trigger warning - almost fell back off my chair watching the video, plus now I can't "unwatch" what I just saw

Granted, there's many types of people in this domain with varying agendas, the pushers, the ones getting pushed, influenced, manipulated. Unfortunately the number of people that don't think, don't ask questions or don't read past the headlines are plentiful - seeking objective reality/truth doesn't seem to matter anymore, the easier thing to do is accept anything that will satisfy initial beliefs, ideologies and basically make people "feel better".

Ever since I can remember being alive, I've had a body type that will easily put on weight but have never been overweight because I've learned to eat properly and exercise regularly.

To understand at least one part of this charade is "follow the money"...
    Taken from this page: https://www.bodybuilding.com/content...egativity.html

    Follow The Money

Clearly, people who have been shamed for being "too fat" or "too thin" have every right to stand up for themselves, to demand the right to be accepted for who they are, not what they look like. But there is a commercial side to it as well. Increasingly, consumers are demanding that clothes be available in plus sizes, and the market is responding.
Target has stated that it is doubling the number of stores offering a broader range of plus-sized selections, with brands such as Nordstrom, REI, and Nike following suit. These retailers are marketing "bigger bottoms" in the form of yoga pants, "wide-cut" jeans, and new stretchy fabrics.
No one disputes the fact that consumers should have access to clothes in which they feel comfortable. An unanswered question, however, is whether this trend will encourage weight gain—or at least minimize the need to maintain a healthy body weight—at a societal level.
A recent report from Coresight Research indicates that the plus-size market, currently valued at about $46 billion per year, is growing faster than the overall fashion market. Acceptance of larger bodies has certainly proven to be good for business.
