The Crypto meltdown, is it a good buy or did MGTOW content creators get paid to pimp it?

been watching Red Pill creators , many were pushing crypto in the last several months. Were they paid? One Creator admits to having a Crypto sponsor, another that I unsubscribed would shame guys to go and buy it (that guy must be down 80%)

If anyone has a good reason to buy at these levels, which crypto? I would love to hear the case to buy

Only thing I can think of is crypto will have a last death convulsion before collapsing completely. This coming from the last of the Mohicans on the sucker pyramid. "Buy the dip."

I highly advise against it though. Should you consider, OP. I'd say it's extremely speculative and I wouldn't bet 1 cent that you can't miss.

Regarding the RP pushers: they're trying to sell you something. That goes for all financial products for that matter. I'm always ROFL about the "experts" on the stockmarkets giving "advice" on what to buy or sell, based on staring at their graphics and claiming they see "patterns." If you stare long enough you'll even see naked, willing women on those charts. Those "experts" often come from banks who needed to be bailed out in the not so distant future.

As for crypto: my biggest problem with them is that I don't "feel" it. What do I mean? I don't see the intrinsic value of them. As a side note: I got kicked out of the land of morons in maths/ numbers and calculations for being too stupid with those. AFAIK bitcoin are in fact algorithms which needed to be calculated for something I'm not even trying to get my head around. But I appreciate it's "value" in maths/ calculations. But for the love of god I can't see how that is holding any monetary value. The crypto "believers" are saying: "it's the new gold. You're acting the same way the guy in the stone age did when offered gold instead of a product when bartering. Could be, but with gold I have something in my hands. With crypto I don't. The "collapse" is a common theme in the RP sphere. Now how are you, as a survivor of said collapse, going to get your crypto's to buy for milk at the farmer when there is no electricity? The only "selling point" I'm seeing with crypto is that one can pay totally anonymously. But other than criminal purchases, what use does that have. And again AFAIK even criminals prefer cash over crypto.

The backlash I'm always hearing from the believers is "Simp, you're just a boomer (I was raised by them as a matter of fact), you know nothing." Fair point but I recognize a pyramid when I see 1 and I'd say crypto is just that. Look at the channels: it's a fucking scheme. One "broker" after the other vanishes and makes cocktails dissappear on a sunny beach while being sucked. For which I can't blame them to get that out of the way: I'd do exactly the same thing if I were them. But I'm not. My POV: those cocktails/ suck whores won't come out of my pocket.

Is the collapse in the crypto market worse than in the stock market? Stock market is down over 20%. How is the crypto market doing in comparison?

It's all bad and being eaten alive by hyper inflation, runaway spending, followed by a crippling recession and perhaps depression.

The ole dunk'n'scrub, rinse'n'repeat, more for oligarchs, less for the people.

We need missiles for Ukraine, not food for the table, gas for your car, and oil for your heat! Come'on man, starve, walk, and freeze a little!

Some say crypto is going to change the world, others say it's just one big con. I take a middle of the road view that it's a speculation not an investment. Yes I have lost some money but I wasn't stupid enough to plunge a large percentage of my wealth into it.
Men are becoming MGTOW by the millions, most without ever having heard the term. They are simply doing what all living organisms finding themselves in a toxic environment do. They adapt to it or remove themselves from it. Females are not liking either the adaptations or the removal.

I feel sorry for all the married dudes soon to be divorced and hunted down for child support, bad economy, no work, and a warrant for his arrest for non payment. The safest investment on earth right now and for the foreseeable future is being MGTOW.

The worst day of our life is their best!

The crap we don't have to think about frees us up for the things we do have to think about! The advantage is immeasurable!

FWIW, Iím with RedPilled Simp, itís all a con.

Youíre investing in what exactly? An incredibly complex computer algorithm?

To my mind itís no different to those investing millions in art or collectables, they have no intrinsic value other than the value some in society choose to place upon them.

    Hey, go for it. (Sarc)

While youíre at it tell me how much you appreciate the social elites like the Kardashians (or whatever the latest trend is). They also have no intrinsic value as far as I can tell, but they do have value in conning a generation.

Such is Crypto as far as I can tell.

Wanna invest in something rewarding? Invest in chickens, get a flock, enjoy the fresh eggs with dark orange yokes from a healthy diet fed by you! Or settle for those sickly runny store bought eggs from chickens fed Chinese grain loaded with cadmium, arsenic, and other heavy metal delights.

I wish I could unlearn some of the things I've learned! It made me change my entire investment strategy and outlook!

I'm not agreeing on those arguments. Sure: if you "zoom out" completely everything is "worthless" and all about what a fool is willing to pay for. However with art I still see some intrinsic value: you can hang a painting on a wall and enjoy it or wipe your ass with it. Heck I can jerk off to Kim K's butt as she wiggles it in front of the cam for money. Of course I won't but my point is: even in KK's BS I see some intrinsic value. I just fail to see it in said algorithms. Another question on my mind: if there IS intrinsic value in bitcoin alg's, why don't they use one of their supercomputers to calculate those in 5 minutes?

I'll answer my own question, or rather get Google to answer it for me:

"The most popular cryptocurrency has shed about 70% of its value since hitting an all-time high of roughly $69,000 in November. The entire crypto market is feeling similar pain. The overall market capitalization of crypto assets has dropped to less than $1 trillion from its November 2021 peak of $3 trillion."

Ouch! By comparison, the general stock market has declined about 20%. I was thinking that if crypto had dropped 20%, too, that would not be a big deal. I mean, it would hurt for those investors, of course -- especially the ones who needed to live on the money in the near-term -- but it wouldn't be any worse than what was happening everywhere else. But 70% is a hell of lot bigger fall than 20%.

Certain art work will always have value. It is often used to preserve wealth in turbulent times like now.

Recent story about billionaire fleeing his home country. He was buying up quality paintings like crazy. Why?
When he left his country he could load the cargo hold with his collection. His assets. When he touched down in whatever country he was set.

No need to try and transfer bank funds. Convert currencies, or other hurdles. Just sell some art as required. To free up some cash.

It is a very mobile asset. That can be an awesome advantage.
"People are always angry at anyone who chooses very individual standards for his life; because of the extraordinary treatment which that man grants to himself, they feel degraded, like ordinary beings."

There is nothing good about crypto. It’s gambling. Some win big, many lose.

In the long run, crypto will be used by those in power to keep a record of everything you buy.
