    Rising Energy Prices

Domestic energy prices are going through the roof. Here in Ireland, the rises this year alone have been nothing short of horrific, so what’s the reason?

First though, what do I mean by horrific?

In May my electricity rose by 43%. In October it’s due to rise by another 45.7%. Domestic gas prices are also rising comparatively. (source: Bord Gáis announces second price increase this year)

That’s a cumulative rise in the price of electricity of 108.35% in just 5 months and it’s expected that there is more come.

(Before anyone points out that 43% + 45.7% = 88.7%, you also have to add in 45.7% of the original 43% giving 108.35%)

So just what is the reason?

Usually when this topic comes up two main factors are pointed at: Fallout from Covid, and the Russian war with Ukraine. There are also claims of profiteering from energy suppliers. I’ve no doubt that these are factors but it didn’t sit well with me as a complete picture, there had to be something more going on. So I went looking:

    Financial Times Opinion Article

Normally I would include a few quotes from referenced articles to support my position; unfortunately the Financial Times does not like this unless you pay for the privilege so I won’t bother this time.

Basically it points to ESG policies and lack of investment in fossil fuels due to disparagement.

    ESG:

Environmental, Social, and Governance criteria are a set of standards for a company's behavior used by socially conscious investors to screen potential investments. Environmental criteria consider how a company safeguards the environment, including corporate policies addressing climate change, for example.

So it would seem that the real culprit, or culprits, are Climate Change Activists. This makes much more sense to me.

Bloody brainless do-gooders. Well, I hope they’re happy now.

    Re: Rising Energy Prices

I live on a backlot in a completely forested condemned family campground with landlocked building lots like mine (5%).

I have Husqvarna 372-xp with a 24"inch bar. I've been harvesting trees for firewood since 2013.

I have a good size garden I cultivated from once was a pine forest with 110ft. white pines, now grass and gardens.

Without these amenities carved from the asshole of justice I would be freezing and starving this winter, no doubt!

We don't have a legitimate form of government, that was disbanded 7/18/97 by order to CEASE AND DESIST still outstanding to this day.

Whenever governments become destructive to its own ends, it is the inalienable right of the people to alter or abolish the same.

I chose abolish rather than die under the tyranny of ten million widow makers looming in wait like a thief in the dark.

My advice to hardships CAUSED, PERPETUATED, AND MADE BY DESTRUCTIVE GOVERNANCE is to rip it a new asshole you can fly a 747 through!

I am the poster child of managed decline through the death and dismemberment of the body politic.

Neither Joe Biden or Donald Trump have any authority here, because it's a dead body politic condemned by law since 1/10/1974, seized 7/18/1997

Men rule no matter what the political landscape dictates otherwise.

When the going gets rough, the rough get going!

We are not subjects of the state, we are free thinking and acting individuals the government rather we not.

    Re: Rising Energy Prices

When you run a country and ride the global climate change dogma, with a never ending need to virtue signal in its honor, you will not make the right decisions when it comes to your country's energy supplies and energy independence. That leaves power houses like Russia as the final arbitror of your creature comforts. And you have, thus, given your future to them.
It's nice to live in the green Shire, Frodo, but you're outsourcing your survival to Mordor. As a citizen, you're screwed Jackoff.

As a new-comer to this group I'm quite thrilled to see these types of discussions here, and that for the most part, there is a consensus. The red-pill reference for us as MGTOW is applicable on a much wider scale. I've spent the past 12+ years looking into this with considerable education and experience in the world of corporate finance, energy, agriculture and yes, environmental activism (fuck that was a nightmare....).

    A few key points:

-There is a faction of our global leadership that is convinced there are wayyy too many of us for this biosphere/planet to support (and have thought that way for decades) - they permeate power centres in politics, business, academia, media etc and can be readily identified with their involvement with certain global bodies like the WEF (World Economic Forum), not to mention their lock-step policies and communications.

-I won't delve into whether or not the recent pandemic was launched on purpose or occurred naturally (that is another topic) - but they have certainly taken advantage of it in order to drastically reduce our freedoms, which has the follow-on effect of drastically reducing our consumption of all resources through economic collapse. There is a depopulation element to this, but it is too early to say if this is meant to be rather short-term or over the next several decades.

-Most of what appears to be left/right (politically) or west/east (geographically) "battles" are just theatre to keep us (the common folk) distracted and/or divided. There may be a handful of leaders that actually value freedom - but it must be understood that if they don't tow the line, they are quickly removed from positions of power (or worse). No one is coming to "save" us is the key message here.

-I don't pretend to have all of the answers, but I've logged well over 20,000 hours over the past decade in research and analysis on these topics - to be sure I've fallen down a few rabbit holes, but by and large this is my take on things, and it is well documented (by others and by the very leaders and their public pronouncements on these topics). I'm not into conspiracy theories - rather conspiracy facts that can be readily proven with publicly available evidence.

-I don't write/blog on these matters, but I have followed several who do (from across the globe and political spectrum). If there is interest in learning more, I highly recommend the works of Brandon Smith, an American patriot/liberty advocate who blogs at a site known as Alt-Market and CJ Hopkins, a more liberal leaning satirist whose blog is Consent Factory. I would recommend going back to some of their earlier works (ie 10+ years for Brandon and at least 6 for CJ) although both do offer compilations or archives of their key writings to bring you up to speed. They aren't 100% right on everything and I don't agree with everything they say either - but both have a remarkable track record of accuracy and insight. There are others as well, but these two should provide a decent start.

-It's not all doom and gloom - it should be obvious that at the very least, the "safe and effective" narrative is collapsing, and there is unprecedented civil unrest happening across the globe as citizens push back against the tyranny (this push-back had already started pre-pandemic by the way). There are way more of us than them, and ultimately we have the power - we just need to recognize that, and forge a new way of living .

Happy to engage in productive, honest discussion on these matters, especially if there are genuine questions that I feel I can answer or at least speculate on!

Consensus is just a bullet of truth ricocheting around in one's head after fired upon.
In the beginning, it only ate men, now it's coming for the women and children, and nothing can stop it.

    I do enjoy conspiracy theories.

So many of them are nothing short of fucking hilarious, make no sense, and yet people espouse their belief in them. I can only hope that they’re taking the piss.

But then there are others. The shit that’s been going on for the last decade or two whilst unbelievable to any rational mind, is unquestionably happening. The only question is why.

It denies all logic, all rational, all philosophical debate.

Enter the hamster. The seeds have been sewn.

Females fuck with men’s heads. Men, thinking they know the game try to play along and outsmart them only to fall into their trap.

There is no outsmarting women, because smarts isn’t their game to begin with.

They’re out to fuck with everyone’s head.

    NAWALT, but EWALT.

Almost everything I see happening around us today I put down to people playing games, real life games with real life consequences.

Sense, like Elvis, has left the building.
