One thing you can do, easier if you work remote, is to "Patton Walk".
General Patton made all his clerks get up and exercise every hour or so. You can stand for 20, do knee rises or march in place, stretches, walk up and down the stairs or around the house a few times, etc. every hour.
The most dedicated "Treadmill Desk" guy I saw is the Keyboardist "Flake" from the German Band "Rammstein", so dedicated he takes it on tour and does the treadmill while working the board at concerts.
