    Any Metalheads on here?

I've been getting into Metal for a month or two now and I'm starting to really like it. Anyone else here likes Metal or is a fan of it?

Not a fan of the style in general, but I really like Dream Theater, Nightwish, Metallica, and Evanescence. I guess I go for the symphonic sub-genre more than any of the others. I hear a bit of thrash from Metallica at times, but I could be wrong.

Big fan of metal for a long time here. Oldschool death, black metal, thrash, power metal. My first concert was Iron Maiden when i was 16yo and kept seeing shows until the covid hit. Here in canada shows are rare since the covid. In the last month i saw one in a sketchy parking lot, it was great after a year and a half of confinement.

But i dont just listen to metal. Some synthwave, hardcore punk, kpop.. yeah i know. The only thing i dont listen to is country. Favorite Band is called Turmion Katilot and its a melting pot of multiple genres of music that i like.

Yeah, I love the stuff, nothing gets me in the zone when I'm working or lifting better than metal. Currently listening to a lot of old Carcass and Carnivore. \m/

Yes, big metal fan. I always listen to it when working out. I used to be all about Metallica but my tastes have expanded in the last ten years or so. Big fan of Rammstein, Emigrate, Slipknot have a couple of tracks I like as do Black Sabbath.

Also quite a big fan of synth like Nine Inch Nails and heavier drum and base like The Prodigy.

Yes. When I bike ride, drive, or workout, if I'm not listening to the soundtrack to the Conan movies, I listen to Industrial Metal groups like: KMFDM, Gravity Kills, Fear Factory and Rob Zombie.
It's a man's world and we need to take it by the throat and make it give us what we desire.

I've liked Einstürzende Neubauten for a long time. I also hear Industrial influences in old Ultravox stuff, like "Dislocation": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yhx7sODk10o

All Ultravox's synths back then were analog. Nothing like today's digital ones. They sounded almost human. Bit of trivia: they were configured via cassette recorders for live shows. Sometimes a tape would go wonky in the middle of an upload for a particular song and the band would have to scramble...

Grew up in the late 70's and 80's so big on metal and classic rock. Like some of the modern metal bands as well. Also play guitar, even if I can replicate all the songs myself, I like being able to make metal noise!
