    It's everywhere

So, I was just watching this youtube video: parents and kids react to emojis (yeah, really).

And then I realised: father/daughter, mother/son, mother/daughter, there was just one combination missing. See if you can guess. The Red Pill really is like those glasses from "They Live". Once you see, you can't un-see.

I couldn't get through more than two minutes of this. How lame. Most parents don't want to know what their kids are doing.

I watched until about two minutes in before I started reaching for the cyanide bottle.

EDIT: Joe beat me to it. Hi Joe!

Guess which gender this "entertainment" caters to. What they find entertaining actually tells you a lot about them.

I haven't watched the Fine Bros for years. The whole react shtick ran it's course after 2016. FBE is just a typical one trick pony heavily endorsed by CorporateTube just to shell out mindless entertainment to the masses.

Plus even if I were still watching their content, I'd certainly skip this particular one. Emphasis on emojis is basically a female/effeminate man type of dynamic, just like anyone owning an iPhone.

I like emojis, a little bit of them though. They help fill the missing facial expression from textual communication. But yeah, I hate over emphasis on them where you start replacing every word with them.

Meanwhile I'm watching educational videos and seeking practical information to increase my navigation skills in life, and they wonder what happened to half the audience since drama and lowlife gutter scum took center stage? Only the internet gives me what I want, everything else is has an agenda foreign to my interests, and insulting to my intelligence, that video is Gurbers baby food!

    Re: It's everywhere

The whole emoji thing has totally passed me by (no loss there then) so I did watch it through out of sheer curiosity, painful as it was.

Good point though about no father/son team. I guess they couldn’t find one.

I have to say though even after watching this I still don’t get it. Why not just say what you mean instead of encrypting it in a way that can be confusing? I guess I’m entering my luddite phase of life where I just don’t get where the kids are at.

I can say one good thing about emojis as an artist. We have to learn how to express emotion in an exaggerated way very early on in our training. Its a necessary skill, otherwise the art looks very dull. If two paintings are shown to a non-artist, in which one of them is done correctly in terms of expression, chances are the non artist will see one is better but wont be able to explain why, an artist however will recognize it. Eg: Look at the sneaking Tom in the above gif, and notice his elbow on the other side. Anatomically, its a bit wrong, the elbow doesnt bend like that, but artistically its amazing, because it exaggerates the intent. Look how it becomes relaxed when the other cat turned around and Tom stopped sneaking.

So back to emojis, one thing I like about them, they are kindda a study material for me, from contemporary artists. Why one emoji looks so much better than other. But that is me communicating with the artist who drew it. I dont know personally any artists, otherwise I'd love to dissect their work, discuss with them why they did X and not Y, and compare it to my work. But I cant be bothered to socialize on blue pill networks out there.

The "kids" however, are not doing any of that, they are just being a sheep, following each other.
