    Cool Old Brah Intro

Hey brothers! I've been surfing this site for years and finally decided to actually join. I'm not much of a poster but I did comment quite a bit on the Reddit forums until the recent banning.

Divorced now for 10 years and was married for 20 before that. It's actually getting fuzzy now when I try to recall specific times when I was married. I'd characterize my marriage as a long slog in trying to please someone who really cant be content except for short periods. So we were both at fault when I look at it that way. I'm way past the red pill rage these days and have no issues with her. I have children and she was 100% a good mother to them so that helps.

I feel mgtow and minimalism mostly go hand in hand and have been pursuing it for 20+ years. Brothers, you've never felt struggle until you start trying to be a minimalist while married. I just thought it was part of the pain of doing it but since I've been single I've realized that paring down is fairly simple and easy. I've finished raising my daughters now and sold my house. I moved into a roommate situation with an old coworker of mine (female so we will see how it goes). I rent half the house for dirt cheap and have a nice place to store my paddleboards and hiking equipment. I'm hoping since she is older that a lot of the problems guys have with roommates wont materialize. So far so good. We both travel (separately of course) and it's great not having to worry about being gone for long periods.

Over the last 10 years I've developed a passion for hiking and paddleboarding secluded spots. This will now go into overdrive since my daughters are on their own. I keep myself healthy and extremely fit because being mgtow your health HAS to be first priority. Living so sparsely/minimally and working remotely full time should make it possible to do whatever I want until I decide to stop or some health issue comes up.

Looking forward to seeing post and commenting here going forward.

Would be great to see some of the pictures at some point- sounds like beautiful scenery. Obviously you can leave yourself out of the pictures to maintain anonymity. Would also be curious to hear about your practice of minimalism. Sounds like something a lot of MGTOWs might be interested in.

    Welcome OB.
