Another Aussie, alright. Glad you found us.
I always wanted to ride Australia, but never had the money. What kind a bike you got?
Every day I make the world a little bit worse.
Australia, frog? You can ride there steering with your feet! You need a bike with autopilot for when you fall asleep!
Around here, rte. 100 VT, 202 MA,CT,NY and a shitload of winding roads with correct pitch designed for tin lizzies (model-T) are awesome rides if like skiing and cornering! Allot of the same roads used during prohibition when the smugglers used to outrun the cops, and many of the drivers later became famous race car drivers, it's where modern racing got it's start!
Autonomous equipment will go up in smoke on these roads!
You won't make it past the first wash in Australia, you'll be sleeping along, and the bike falls out from under you, oops, didn't see that one coming!
Corruption, like low tide, lowers all boats and smashes their hulls on the rocks.
Very good intro, thanks, and welcome to the group. I've been here a few months, and it's a good one.
Nice. I liked that. I especially identify with your sense that dating just isn't worth the time and effort. I will occasionally feel myself drawn back to experimenting with it -- maybe once a year, once every other year -- but I always come away bored and disappointed, and more appreciative of my single life. I'm fortunate to have a lot of other interests. I think some men don't. It's like chasing women is so programmed in, it's all they can think to do with themselves. What closed the door forever between myself and women was not a single act, was not one woman, was not one day and not one too many trips to the stupid candle shop, it was all of it in combination. From living with a woman who refused to help clean up the house we lived in whilst working a "crazy" 10 hours a week, the woman that used to scream and throw things when she didn't get her way to the stupid time consuming and ultimately disappointing dating games, I got a little tired of it all and now I'm just doing my own thing and going my own way.
Anyhow, welcome aboard.
Good read. Welcome to the fraternity. We all have certain scars from dealing with others from our past. The key is what we learned from those experiences and how we apply said knowledge going forward.
