Hello from San Francisco Bay Area

My name is Chris, 60yo white male, and I used to be on the mgtow.com site for a few years. Haven't posted there for a while and when I tried to access it lately it came up as blank.
I wanted to re-join and found this site which seems like the replacement site. I don't care why the old site is down but I suspect it's because of feminist hate and cancel groups. I used to enjoy the insight of Keymaster who gave me my red pill encounter.
Divorced twice, I never learn, and been single for 8 years now. No desire to date or to play the game with women anymore. I have grown very happy and comfortable with myself and my life and it has been financially beneficial to the point that I will probably be able to retire earlier than expected.

This place is not related to the Keymasters site, though we got members who came from there a few years ago.

    Welcome.

    Welcome Chris,
I - among a few others here were also MGTOW.COM members. We migrated in late summer 2018 when things started to fall apart there. The site appeared to be going through an upgrade making access difficult which caused a number of members to believe KM wanted to purge some of the 'troublesome' elements. I use the term troublesome loosely because I dont think the high jinks were sinister or hateful. We would just have 16 page tuna hunts and banter that in hindsight made us look immature.

I have no evidence but I think KM gave up on the site because things went a little further with some members demanding to be deleted entirely which KM had previously indicated would be a monumental piece of work. The request to be deleted was one thing but the way some members openly disrespected KM was another.
The site went into some sort of Zombie mode from around early 2019. I would drop in now and again out of curiosity and - permit me to say - with some sadness that things had got the way they had.

I bounced to TIM.COM here and there then dropped off the scene almost completely for the past few years. I needed to cool off so to speak. But I am busy for the most part anyway working and raising my son and daughter whom I have joint custody with my ex wife.

I knew I would circle back as I enjoy the discussion.

Anyway - pleasure to make your acquaintance Chris.

I remember it unfolding exactly as you describe Doc, that's why I started to lose interest in that site. Glad to have found this site and thank you for the welcome.

The bay area? Haven't been there since 84, and that was just going down Hwy.1. I can only imagine what it's like today. Oh well, your average frisco type probably wouldn't think much a my life either, country bumpkin that I am.

    Did you grow up there?

The Bay Area has become a sheite hole. It's a complete clown world here. I'm just letting the clock run its course here until I retire. Then I'll high tail it out of here.
I actually grew up in Sweden. Moved here in '86, during the Reagan years. The place was much different then.
