    Women Only Parking Spaces?

    Hahahahaha...

'Women-only' parking spaces spur debate in Germany - The Star

Is because they are too feeble to park in normal sized spaces or, do they really need the extra privilege?

    Explain yourselves, Germans...Hahaha

What say you, fellas? (Don't punish the messenger!)

Ha, ha. Everyone agrees it's discrimination. They just can't agree against whom.

So why do they still exist? Nobody has the balls to do anything about it for fear of offending a SJW and who needs that shit in their life? Maybe send Trump over there to make the decision.

Please remember that european parking lots and streets are in general way smaller than they are in the US or Canada.

Imagine you are the poor owner of the Porsche while the lady in the Rover next to it tries to seat 2 kids in their seats and pack the bought goods.

There will be 2 new big dents on the left side of the Porsche after that.

That is why women parking is wider, so they can seat kids with open doors without putting dents into the next car. On kick of the kid to the door and you have a nice raise in insurance premium.

As space is at an premium in most of our cities, traffic is dense and land owners are greedy, most parking is rather tight like in the picture except for mentioned women parking.

This is also the reason why we get the Ford Ranger - but not the F-Series of Trucks or big cars in general, the length of a parking spot is 5m maximum, the minimum required by law. Width avg. 2,3m.

This is sexist, plain and simple. If the spaces are being offered to woman due to kids, this is sexist as what about the men who are transporting children? This is in violation of the Feminists wants to be treated equally, how dare they imply they need special treatment because they are female? Shame, shame

Not sexist, but age based discrimination, if the justification is because of "THINK OF THE KIDS" phuyuck.

“The fact that our women’s parking spaces are wider is simply due to practical reasons and shouldn’t imply that women are worse at driving than men.”
But, but, but - they fucking are. Particularly when it comes to parking. And they suck at parking for very well established neurophysical reasons. It's just the way it is.

It's ok to say men aren't as emotionally facile as women; but the second you suggest that women might not be as good as something as men, everyone loses their fucking minds.

You know, now that you mention it, it seems like many of the women I've dated have admitted to me that they've had multiple collisions with stationary objects. One girl backed into a parked rock truck damaging her tail light. Another backed into my car. Another hit the lawn-mower, got mad, and backed all the way over it getting the thing stuck under the car.

Of course, this sample isn't scientific... maybe I've just had a run of bad luck.

Actually, that one's easy. If you have a protected class vs. a man, and you need to know who's being discriminated against if a benefit is conferred upon the protected class, simply switch the roles. Have the man get the benefit. Then ask the SJW if the protected class would be suffering discrimination in that scenario.

    Re: Women Only Parking Spaces?

Actually the reason for those spaces is so women can park close to the store so it lesses the chance of them getting raped walking there.

^ yeah this is the ACTUAL reason.

thats how much they are convinced that they are victims.

    Fucking useless.

They can give the wimminz special parking spots. They'll still feel afwaid. They can install better lighting. They'll still feel afraid. They can put panic alarms every half a mere. They can carpet the carpark with surveilance cameras. They can show statisically that you have a better chance of being struck by lightning. The wimmins will still feel afraid, afraid, afraid. Vulnerable, alone and afriad. Living in a miasma of fear and stress. Ulcers of fear and uncertainty, like everyday they are tiptoeing in a minefield that could blow at any second.

When Jessica Valenti and the rest of them talk about "rape culture", this is what they are talking about. The atmosphere of stress and vulnerability and looking-over-the-shoulder that these women live in. They are not talking at all about an external, objective thing. They are talking about their feelings. This is why they get so impatient when people argue that rape culture does not exist. What they are calling "rape culture" absolutely does. They are frightened all the time.

Why? What causes this? Well let's ask the opposite question: what could stop them feeling like this? What would fix it?

There is ONE thing, and ONLY one thing, that will assuage these women's continual fear, their constant running anxiety. And that is to be in the company of a tall, strong man whom they trust. A husband. A daddy. That's what they are missing. That's what they crave. Someone to cherish them. Someone to guard and protect them. That's the nagging, horrible absence that's making the whole world a dark and scary place. That's what it's all about.

I've been to Europe. Now, I guess a lot can change in two decades, but the idea that rape is so commonplace that it's a realistic fear for a woman to be snatched and raped on her way through a parking lot is frankly nonsense.

I do not personally know a single woman who has ever been snatched in a parking lot and raped. I'm acquainted with a lot of women, and I've never heard of a woman in my circle of acquaintances being snatched in a parking lot and raped.

How about any of you guys? Is it different in Europe today?

Seriously, if that were a thing, you'd think one of us would know someone who'd been snatched and raped in a parking lot.

You know, like I personally know two people who've been robbed on a public street. And three of my acquaintances were pick-pocketed in Europe, though they were frequenting a high-tourist area so that might not be indicative of a European trend.

My Dear Demented Auntie used to do this all the time, to keep anyone from dinging the door of her precious Monte Carlo!

(I give her this much credit, she parked in the back of the lot.)

If I were to walk the street, see a black man approaching me and think "Oh no, he's going to MUG me!" would that be an indicator of the "crime culture" that we live in? No, it would make me a paranoid and racist fuckwit.

The whole hysterical notion of "rape culture" is a sickening and slanderous label put upon men by feminists, with the sole purpose of demonizing one half of the world's population. Folk devils and moral panics.

I mean, just how DID I make it out of the womb without assaulting the midwife? *rolleyes*

Indeed. This is why that married mother of three you see whining about The Patriarchy is banging her personal trainer.

Returning to subject, I welcome this development. The 'female only parking' signs will tell me which parts of the lot I need to avoid.

    Re: Women Only Parking Spaces?

they already have something like this here in the States..... two of my local malls have spaces reserved for "expectant mothers" and "women with small children"...

seriously.. if being pregnant is so bothersome, then just why is such a woman driving???

"HEY THAT'S A FEMALE ONLY SPACE!"

"Fuck off. She's in the trunk."

Listen, if we're going to have fat acceptance, we need to get those fatties as close to the mall as possible. God forbid that appetite goes up any higher than it already is. I say let women just have everything they want - it's far easier than having to listen to them harp, moan and cry. I park purposefully AWAY from the herd, and I find a spot that is conveniently over-sized due to the ability of others to park with common decency. I also like to park in open spaces where crooks are less likely to break in to my car.

To hell with those lazy bitches. Especially the super-fat ones with the battery powered scooters.

Kids say "Dad, why do we park so far?" and I say "We're not as lazy as those other people. Now hustle up."

    I'm a kick-ass dad hahahaha.

Kids are getting bellies. We're going to walk even more.

I am surprised it hasn't been legally challenged, because there is no inherent reason for this to be possible. From what I have observed whether in Europe or North America is that in general women will park closer to storefronts, because they plan on going on a shopping spree. Retailers know this so I suppose that is why there is marketing and catering to such demographics.

    Re: Women Only Parking Spaces?

It started out with handicapped stalls. Okay, makes sense.
Then out came the angry pregnant women.
    Then mothers with small children.
Then *parents* with small children. (I guess there was adequate backlash about that one).

So, when this brand of victim olympics is over you'll have able-bodied, young, white cis-males parking 4 miles from the mall.
And they say they're not ageist, ableist, sexist, racist... unless you're young, healthy, male and white. Then you can fuck off to the back of the line.

Kind of makes you want to stop holding doors open for women or offering them a seat, doesn't it?
