Thread: Trans and the Bathroom

I don't care if you are for or against gender neutral bathrooms, as long as they keep urinals around, I am fine.

However, the biggest people against the unisex bath rooms always make it about "the womyns" ? Listening to this debate the white knights are coming out of the wood work.

Just an observation.

I'm behind North Carolina on this one. If, before these new laws, an FTM (female-to-male) dressed as male has been using the men's room while I was in there too, I never knew because she went to the stall, closed the stall door, and did her business. She wasn't wearing women's clothing for me to wonder what the hell she is doing in the men's room. I never knew. The FTM took her piss, then left. I took my piss, then left. I didn't know, so I didn't care. This, I believe, is what we have had prior to the controversy.

Now they want it codified into law, this situation, which, to an extent, now makes every man in the men's room aware that anybody can walk through the men's room door. Even a vagina wearing women's clothing or otherwise not trying to appear male. So now I gotta care. Ok, I'll choose a law for segregation determined by sex organs, not have it become an open season for experimental people who want to play games with this. I don't need a parade of funny business in the men's room. If a vagina is going to walk in the men's room, either fool me well and take your sit-down piss, or stay the hell out of the men's room. Like before the controversy. Isn't that what they wanted, to have me believe they were male despite what really might be between their legs?

Here are the questions I have about those who dress opposite of their genitals, or claim they identify as the sex that is opposite of their genitals:

1) What have they been doing all of these years when choosing a restroom? Have they been choosing the bathroom that matches their genitals, or one that matches their clothing? How's that been working out?

2) How often do they leave the house dressed in clothing that does not match the gender they claim to be? You see, I believe that there are transgendered people who do dress as either sex, upon occasion and when it conveniences them, and that this is an undisclosed secret. My point is that such people can be comfortable in the clothing of the other sex, when it conveniences them, and thus cannot claim mental anguish and discomfort to the degree that is claimed. To what extent this secret once exposed would identify any exaggeration would remain to be seen, but I think this needs to be talked about.

3) There is much noise about a man entering the woman's restroom for the wrong reasons. What would stop any woman from entering the men's restroom then claiming she was sexually assaulted by a man there? Imagine how this would be exploited by SJW's or any other loony vagina-possessing woman who needs to cover up her slutty behavior by getting herself into a men's room then crying rape. I'm not being cute when I say this. Remember, it's her word that gets believed. Under existing laws, they'd wonder why she entered the men's restroom. Under the new laws, she would claim she identified as male but got raped. The men's restroom would cease to be a de facto safe space for men once exploitative women realize they have a new angle made available to them.

As long as the reason isn't defending women that they might see a penis from a white knights perspective. That's what most of the mainstream articles have been about.

I personally think they should mark everything penises here, vaginas there and end the discussion. But it is no hair off my chest if they go gender neutral. It is the white knights that piss me off.

Yeah no thanks I can do without wimmenz in the men's bathroom. As unboxxed said, if a some FTM tranny wants to quietly do its/his/her business in the stall, it's no concern of mine. Other than that, just get the fuck out.

My sibling in law is a transgender in progress. She makes an effort to look female, and always dresses as such. The hormones have gone a long way in achieving the look, but they have made her gain weight, so she looks fairly female but an over weight one. So, she blends in well.

Her attitude is that of course she uses the female bathroom; she would look silly dressed as a woman going into the men's bathroom. It is never an issue, as she passes for female, and she is usually with a gaggle of female friends all going at the same time. (What is up with that anyway?)

In any crowed venue I have always run into full on practicing biological females using the men's bathroom. The long lines for the female bathrooms make it necessary. When you got to go you got to go; better in a stall than on the floor outside the women's bathroom. It bugs me to some extent because I know that men have no such option, but really, among all the other injustices and double standards this is not worth much head space.

The only time I've ever seen a woman in a men's bathroom was when the cleaning lady was doing her duty. That said, I've rarely ever gone to festivals/concerts so maybe that's the kind of environment where this stuff happens more frequently.

What gets me is the women using the men's room due to long lines or it being occupied and then stopping men from going in theirs even though there is an open urinal or two. WTF? If they are in the wrong room then deal with it is what I say, do not inconvenience the men who have to go because your stalls are all in use.
