    Post This has to be a joke, right?

    Gentlemen,

    After having the day from hell - in no small part due to a woman! I couldn't help but laugh when a friend sent me this. He simply stated the following: "You'll see the funny side" and yes, I certainly can for, no matter the situation in life, it is always women who're the... "hard done by" party, in their minds at least.

    With grammar and spelling cleared up, here's the message I received:

    "A lot of men act like they're doing women a favour by asking for her hand in marriage but, let's think about this for a second. She changes her name, changes her home and leaves her family and moves in with you. She builds a home with you, gets pregnant for you, gets fat and bears children for you and destroys her body for you. She almost gives up in the labour room due to the unexplainable pain, and even the children she delivers bear your name. Until the day she dies everything she does benefits YOU so who is really doing who the favour? Appreciate your wife TODAY because it's not easy being a woman.

    Please share your views and, if I may, allow me to laugh out loud at this nonsense!

    Let's go point by point -

    1) She changes her name - no she can agree or disagree with the AUTOMATIC taking on the husband's surname, takes 1 second.
    2) changes her home - how many people who do not already live together get married? Probably a minority.
    3) Leaves her family - sure, if you characterise "leaving" by having to drive a few tens of miles to see her parents every weekend.
    4) Builds a home with you - she never built anything in her life, much less a home.
    5) Gets pregnant for you - She gets pregnant for her, you might want to get a paternity test just in case, though.
    6) Gets fat - again, does it out of slothfulness and certainly not for the man. Many fit pregnant women do not get fat, just grow the belly due to a human growing inside. The pig-out of pregnant women is a convenient excuse - "but, it's for the baby!"
    7) Inexplicable pain of labour - tell that to any doctor who'll tell you that kidney stones hurt about 2x worse than child labour - I had them once, I wanted somebody to shoot me to put me out of my misery.
    8) Until the day she dies everything she does benefits YOU - this one doesn't even deserve a response.

    Yet another case of drawing a comparison by looking at only one side. When will these silly feminists learn?

    It's written to guilt men into coming back onto the plantation.

    Now all you dumb simps who feel bad because of all she sacrifices, go wife up a woman who can ruin you later at will. If she options out of her vows with divorce because she is not happy or she got bored, it's all your fault. Reread the tripe about all she gives up each time you miss your kids and every month when you write her a check.

    Really? It's THAT terrible for women who get married?! My god, that...that moves me. I guess if I want to do right by women, the best thing to do is not subject them to any of that by not getting married.

    It's like a guy who volunteers to work in a soup kitchen and then complains while giving soup to the homeless. Buddy, you volunteered for this.

    So a woman marries and complains about being married? The solution is simple. Don't marry.

    The whining of women has become like white-noise in the background of my life.

    My tiny bit of programming education consisted of a smattering of BASIC and a community-college course in PASCAL ... so this is probably a pretty lame rendition, by modern standards, of the feminist program:

    10 FOR A = ALL MEN
    20 PRINT "IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT"
    30 GOTO 20
    50 END

    Simple as that. An infinite loop of "IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT" - locked up and never getting to END.

    Since women sacrifice so much, we should definitely STOP asking them to make such sacrifices! Marriage should be done away with as well as them giving birth! We need to advance technology enough so that our species can reproduce 100% through artificial wombs. This way no woman will ever again have to make such sacrifices! Granted, her intrinsic value would plummet like a rock in freefall, but obviously everyone would be ok with that because she would still have value as a human being. Coincidentally, JUST like a man! Equality could be within our grasp, what a victory for feminism! Because that's what they want you know, real equality!

    #!/usr/bin/perl

    use strict;
    use warnings;

    my $woman = 'alive';
    while ($woman eq 'alive') { print STDOUT 'It\'s all your fault!', "\n"; }

    It's all your fault!
    It's all your fault!
    It's all your fault!
    It's all your fault!
    It's all your fault!
    ...
    Yes, this script actually does work... if you call a runaway loop "working."

    She takes his name. But now with HIS name she can withdraw money from "their" bank account.

    She leaves her family to move in with him. The car was still hot when she hit the door and parked her ass on the couch with a list of "honey dos".

    He brings her into HIS house. Guess who decorates it removing all traces of manliness?

    She bears "his" children. Better do a paternity test just to make sure.The pain of childbirth is nothing compared to the strain of control for not killing wifey when you discover Junior is not yours years later.

    Her body isn't destroyed by you. That's nature ensuring the baby is as comfortable as possible. Exercise and it will come off. I've seen many a military woman regain her shape after baby pops out.

    Not everything she does benefits ol hubby wubby. Maxing out the credit cards, driving the car into the ground, spoiling the kids and rearranging the furniture every season takes its toll on HIM. Thats why he dies first usually and she collects HIS pension.

    Wanna tell me again how sweet cheeks is on the short end of the stick?

    I would put it like this: If marriage = "terrible" Then get_married = False;
    The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.

    Good point - if marriage is such a shit deal for women, then why do they fantasize about it as girls and contrive to get men into it as adults?

    Pure economics shows that demand for marriage is higher amongst women than men. There has to be a reason for it.

    Didn't I say it was a pretty lame rendition, i.e. crap code?

    It was intentionally feminist-grade coding, I know it was fucked, it was supposed to be fucked, the original originators (feminists) never had a fuggin' clue ...

    PlS. - I like your "exploding head" sign. Thanks for sharing it!

    BeijaFlor - Please don't do that again without a "Code Bleach" warning. There are sensitive programmers and ex-programmers here. Some of them have OCD and a bright colour of Asperger's.

    Have pity on us...

    Oh, dear ... I'm sorry. I'll remember. If I do it again, I'll preface it with "Trigger Warning - Horse Crap Ahead!"
