    The decline continues.

Strip clubs closing due to lack of demand across Canada, says industry insider - British Columbia - CBC News

When the p4p places start shutting down, you know the decline is in full swing. Burn baby, burn. When they're all closed what will the feminists rail about? OMG, the patriarchy is closing down the adult entertainment places. It's so oppressive.

Well - strip clubs don't really offer sex. They only offer something to look at. You can get that for free online.

I'd be curious whether escorts are feeling the same economic downturn... I did read that when the economy tanks, more women turn to prostitution and the excess of labour drives down the price. That said, as I don't hire for sex and so I'm rather ignorant on the subject I'll admit.

In truth, I don't have much interest in strip clubs - they have no appeal to me whatsoever.

As far as I can see, it's like taking a child to a sweet shop and allowing them to look at all the sweets on show, perhaps making them hand over all their money for the... "privilege", but offering them nothing in return for their troubles. Like Chairborne states, if you're so inclined, you can quite easily see what you wish online for free and, with the economic downturn here, I see a great increase in webcam "models" and women talking and trying to somehow "legitimise" what they're doing to their friends. To my mind, this isn't something to be discussed - especially in public but it would seem that not everyone thinks the same as I do. Also, If I remember correctly, there's been quite a few programmes on television here in the United Kingdom with regards "rinsing guys".

I'm glad that I pay women no heed.

Some "establishments" push the limits trying not to get caught, I remember getting a call for a gas leak at a strip club when we arrived on the fire engine we went into the basement to check the area and found two beds and a pile of new condoms that would have fit into a wheel barrow.

I don't visit those places in the USA, but I enjoyed them in Thailand ... the difference being, of course, that you can look and touch, and take 'em home for the evening for a reasonable price.

Reading this post from a Bangkok hotel room right now. I know it's " rented " affection by you know what, last night I spent a great evening with a drop dead gorgeous 22 yo after taking in some live music and a few ales.

She was happy and engaging and frankly a joy to be around compared to the entitled bitches I know at home and I will take the fake fantasy over the real depressing reality any day of the week

15 through 17 year old me loved to go to the strip joint. But as I grew up I realized I shouldn't be paying girls to attention whore, which is what stripping is to me. That was over 10 years ago and I don't miss the expensive drinks, smoke-filled lounges and shady people. I'm sure I'm much better off for it anyway.

    Re: The decline continues.

Poor lighting, over priced drinks and entry fee, just a few of the comments from the article and pretty much what I remember them to be.

Sex used to be expensive for males in my youth and most of it was tease shit like strippers. Now porn on line is a few clicks away, and young women are more willing to give it away for simple trinkets.

To fill this economic vacuum, I'd like to see a new franchise patterned after the quick oil change shops in the form of a massage parlor.

"Yeah, I'd like the full chassis lube and I have a coupon too."

    Agreed.

Strip clubs have been killed by internet porn.

Bars, clubs, and pick-up joints are being killed by Tinder.

The Radio Star was killed by Video.

And the buggy-whip industry just ain't what it used to be.

I don't know who you are or what you want.
if it's a divorce you're looking for, I can tell you I don't have money.
what I do have is a particular set of skills. skills I have acquired over a very long career (of ghosting and going my own way). skills that make me a nightmare for people like you (broads).
if you let feminism go now, that will be the end of it. I will not not look for you, I will not not pursue you.

1- Strip clubs are social. For guys. Going there alone is pointless, but the guys having a good time are there with a group, or with a mate.

2- Not unrelated to this, a Strip Club is the only place where you can openly stare at a sexually attractive women without having to lie about it or cover it up.

3- It's also one of the few places where an attractive woman will approach you and start chatting you up.

That is - its a place where guys can bond over the fact that we are guys, that it's ok to be sexual, and without having to compete with each other over women. It's also a place where a gamma male (and below) is accepted as a sexual person. Sure, it's all about money. Sure, there are strict rules. But for a thirsty, thirsty loser it can seem like a little slice of heaven.

    Re: The decline continues.

When they say "Strip club" it does not describe women taking off their clothes. "Strip club" describe what they do to their male customer's wallets.

Today, guys don't want to pay for dates. So why go to a strip club and get fleeced when you can see hot women for free online.

Another source of income that is down for strip clubs are bachelor parties. Lots of times guys will take their buddy to a strip club and pay for a lap dance. A send off before the honeymoon. Since marriage is down. Bachelor parties are also down.

Why would a woman become a professional dancer when she can become an entrepreneur? Heck, you can go on Twitch and do nothing but show some cleavage and money will roll in. If she sets up her own lewd site, she can get a steady income for masturbating, with an occasional big score for doing some scat work for an oil sheik's sons.

I really miss Radio Shack. Got my first CB radio there in 1973. Made in Japan, not communist China. Those were the days!

In the film, "Fight Club," the narrator and Tyler Durden meet on an airliner. They talk and make note of the "single serving" packets of coffee, creamer, salt, and pepper they were given on the flight. As the plane lands, they note that their relationship will probably end, but that they were pleasant "single serve" friends.

There is nothing 'fake' or 'fantasy' about your "single serving" relationship. Neither of you have illusions about what it is you have. There are no hidden agendas, no manipulation about this. You met, you agreed to terms, and from there on, you were free to enjoy things within the context of the relationship. There are nights with good clients, bad clients, and no clients...you seem to be a good one and she is enjoying herself. She feels comfortable enough to show you a part (not all) of her real self, and its appealing.

She is just practicing 'paid hypergamy.'
