    The bow or the broad?

Last night something happened that I found to be amusing. My friend and I decided to watch the movie Hercules a pretty good action flick. My friend is about 7 years older than myself and even thou we don't look like nerds, both of us along with our other friends read a lot of fantasy and sci-fi novels. Getting back to the movie, their is a very good looking amazonian broad that of course backs up the main guy Hercules. Often times this is where we pause the movie due to making smart ass comments about the broad and laughing our asses off. However this time it was a bit different. I started off by making the comment that I loved the recurve bow that she was using, while my friend was commenting on how he would like to use the amazonian broad. My friend then made it clear that he would want the broad, I made it clear he can have her as long as I get the bow. I then told my friend "Well see then we are both happy, you get the bitch and I get the bow" to which we both laughed and continued to watch the movie.

Myself I am no stranger to pussy and of course like any guy I do still like to look at a good looking woman on TV or real life. However I have to admit that this is the first time I have noticed something that a woman was holding first, without noticing the broad herself. To me that bow held more value than even just the sight of that very fuckable amazonian woman. I use to practice archery as a hobby growing up as a kid, and I was very good with it. The recurve bow that woman had was nice, very similar to what Bear makes. The ends of the recurve bow had blades on them to allow it to be used as a melee weapon also. What I found amusing about the movie was how deadly this amazonian bitch was with the bow. They even showed her shooting it correctly, not taking too much time on each shot. I was good with a bow being able to hit a beer can at a range of 200 feet or more. However as we all know, this bitch would put me to shame since it was written into the script of the movie.

Once I get my arm healed I am wanting to pick up archery again as a hobby and I have been looking into recurve bows for this. Most that I like are in my price range between $400 to $800 bucks. So far I like the Bear recurve bow since it is a one piece bow unlike the others which has the handle then two separate pieces of would bolted on. Oh and just so you know, I've never used a bow sight before and probably would not know how to use it. However this does lead me to ask a few questions to the group.

    1) Have you ever notices something a woman was holding before you noticed her. I mean anything from an awesome bow to a salt and pepper shaker?

    2) Do anyone of you think it is wrong to desire the bow over wanting a one night stand with a good looking broad?

    3) Is this some sort of a sign for me that the red pill has changed my perspectives on how I view women today?

Thanks for reading this guys. I know I went into the bow a lot, however trust me it is a nice bow. For a long time I bounced between wanting a compound bow or a recurve bow, both have their advantages and disadvantages. The compound bow is better for making a longer shot with more accuracy. However the recurve bow is better for shorter ranges and quicker fire rate. I chose the recurve bow mainly because I am just target practicing with it. Just because it fires the arrow at a lower velocity that means I won't have to replace as many arrows due to breaking. Yes I know, I keep getting a bit side tracked on bows, so sorry about that. Even though this conversation I had with my friend took place last night, I just realized what happened. I not only noticed the bow before the broad, I also placed a higher value on the bow. So you might say that shocked me when I realized that. For me I almost always notice the woman over anything else unless it is life threatening. So what was your first thing you noticed over a woman? Was it a muscle car or a bike? For me it was a simple recurve bow. The bow or the broad, which is better for you?

Re: The bow or the broad?

Many years ago, I went cycling in a park here in the city where I lived. It was late spring or early summer, so the weather was real nice that evening.

As I went along, I happened to notice a beautiful red macaw. I'm crazy about birds like parrots and cockatoos, so the sight of it captivated me. What then noticed was that it was sitting on the shoulder of a blonde in a two-piece swimsuit. She wasn't bad-looking, either, but looking at the macaw gave me more satisfaction.

For all I know, it was the more intelligent of the two.

I've always had a love for parrots also. I think my favorite is the African Gray, they can be very silly and playful birds. However you are right, the Macaw was probably the more intelligent of the two. However I would say the same thing if the woman had a budgie parakeet on her shoulder.

In my end of town, there's a pet shop that I sometimes go to. I make a point of going to where the parrots and cockatoos are and I spend some time talking to them. They often appreciate my company.

As for African Greys, I was saddened when Alex died. I first heard about him in the early 1980s when the CBC Radio One science program Quirks and Quarks had a report about him one day. He was so famous that none other than the New York Times printed an obituary of him.

I perform at a lot of renaissance faires and i see women with all sorts of costumes and accessories. I notice that shit right away, especially when they are carrying swords or other weapons. I will on occasion talk to them and ask them about their gear. I don't really talk about anything else with them and usually break off the conversation (politely) and move on before anything like "what's your name?" comes up.

an actually attractive female will hold my attention for all of 2 seconds, and that's being generous.

that is to say, an attractive female by IRL meatspace standards.

A damaged bow can be repaired.
    A damaged broad cannot.

Very good point and the broken bow is probably still worth more.
