U.S. Supreme Court rejects woman's appeal in teen texting suicide case

"WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday left in place the manslaughter conviction of a Massachusetts woman for goading her boyfriend into committing suicide in 2014 with numerous text messages and phone calls in a case that drew attention to cyber bullying.
The justices refused to hear Michelle Carter's appeal of a Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court ruling last year upholding her 2018 conviction. Evidence in the trial showed she repeatedly urged her boyfriend, Conrad Roy, to kill himself by inhaling carbon monoxide inside a parked vehicle. She was 17 and he was 18 at the time.
"You just need to do it Conrad. The more you push it off, the more it will eat at you," she wrote in one text to him.
"You just gotta do it babe, you can't think about it," she wrote in another.
"You're just making it harder on yourself by pushing it off, you just have to do it," she wrote in another . . ."

Commenters: "If you read all the texts you learn how depraved this woman is. The guy would have never committed suicide without her. He left his car with carbon monoxide, having second thoughts and fearing how his death would affect his family. She then pressured him continuously to fight those feelings and to carry on with it. She knew exactly what she was doing by also instructing him to delete all her texts before he dies. Just some very sick stuff. She got off too light in my opinion because she is a younger woman."

    "
Not all speech is protected. That's why you can't scream "FIRE" in a movie theater if there isn't one. I'm glad the SCOTUS refused to hear her appeal. She should be thankful 15 months is all she got. She deserves 15 years. Parents:Keep your kids away from this thing when she gets out."

She's available in a few months guys! Needs another boyfriend! Man UP! lol

Take it from me, the women are certainly meaner and madder in Massachusetts! We're part of Moloch's triangle, Toronto and San Francisco form the other two way points, many of men have gone down here without a trace!

I wonder how this case intersects with Massachusetts' assisted suicide laws, the so-called "End of Life" laws?

A major difference being the man was not old or suffering from a terminal disease or had signed the requisite legal papers likely required under such laws.

Then again, the way I read this page, they have no laws in effect just yet? :

    Today's "choices" are tomorrow's "mandates".

Can you imagine the money .gov could save getting their hands on the reigns of assisted suicide? They'd be punching thousands of tickets a day, even more than Planned Parenthood! I guess we're safe as long as we stay in the middle, not be infants and not be too old! That's all we gotta do! Stay in the middle and we're safe!

Not even the middle is safe. That would be the prime hunting grounds for liquidation. After all, what is the market value of an 81 year old kidney? /sarc

    Was the judge a female?
It wouldn't surprise me if it was a man, since tradcons are seriously seriously anti-male.

I hope this bitch rots in jail.
A mother cannot raise a boy to be a man, not because he needs a father figure; but because she favours team vagina over her own son.

Tradcon women are the most manipulative of all kinds of women, because they infect you with false hope.
Radfems are your best friend, because they hate you and verbalise it - that's honesty!

The red pill rage is a process which takes many many years - so be kind and patient with yourself.

Fifteen whole months? It would probably have taken longer than that to run the appeal.....

Men are more likely to use physical means to get their point across.
But nothing is more dangerous than a vindictive, conniving woman.
Although true sociopaths and psychopaths are less common, borderline women are a dime a dozen.
And those women can be extremely unstable and incredibly manipulative.

Next she will get a full ride to an elite university to major in education. In 6 years she will be in the news again for killing her teenage male students en masse. By that time, killing a male will not even be a crime.....
