Did you notice the guy was the son of a pastor?
I keep bringing it up in my posts on the forum - and I fear I may be banned for it, since many of my MGTOW brothers refuse to see the correlation between the mindset of simps and the mindset of religiosity. But the two are
very similar - it's basically a refusal to be rational, an embracing of a stubborn repetition: "
I will NOT use my mind and my intellect to judge THIS part of my beliefs; no, THESE I will NEVER touch, these I will never doubt".
Look at what Jesus teaches about forgiveness:
https://biblehub.com/matthew/18-22.htm
So if my wife chooses to be a cum dumpster for her colleagues at work, makes me a laughing stock in my community, gets infected by STDs and infects me and mine...
...well, I should forgive her - over, and over.
Peter asks: "
How many times? seven times?"
Jesus replies -
"seventy seven!" - that is, forgive always, forgive forever!
...with an implied: "
just like my Father forgives you every time".
Any MGTOW who doesn't see how this "correlates" with women's way of thinking, how this basically destroys any notion of
accountability, personal responsibility, fidelity, of anything worthwhile in a relationship...
...well, he chooses to be blind. The phenomenon is called "
cognitive dissonance" - the deliberate choice to ignore the truth, even when it is staring one in my face.
Then again, speaking about
accountability in the house of a god who punishes someone for the sins of someone else is kind of moot, anyway.
Nothing makes sense in the lives of true believers - I am in fact quite certain that no true believer ever really, truly sat down and read the Bible, all of it. If you do, you realize it's full of nonsense like these "77 forgives"; bits and pieces that you can use to "explain" everything, from choosing to basically tolerate living next to this disgusting whore, to smashing babies against rocks:

Pathetic, as ever.
