I’ve only been with four pros since I gave up on relationshits and started doing my own thing. One chick was really nice and made it fun, but the others just didn’t feel right. I live in Nevada so my standard operating procedure was to get a hotel room at one of the casinos and call for a “dancer” to be brought to the room. It’s technically still illegal, but most of the security doesn’t seem to mind. I guess they have more important shit to worry about. I’ve only once seen a pro turned away by a security officer as she approached the elevators leading to the rooms. Funny thing was she wasn’t even mine, so some poor bastard’s night definitely didn’t end as he was hoping.

Then I had heard about some customer who was assaulted in his hotel room. The girl had her protection waiting in the car. They came to the hotel room, beat the piss out of him, and robbed him. I don’t know if this guy picked her up right off the street or if she was from an agency, but that was enough to get me to reconsider. I don’t go with pros anymore. Like other posters have said, it’s just too many risks and not worth it. It all seems like a good idea in the moment. It’s what I call looking at the situation through pussy-colored glasses.

There are too many stories about "pros" bringing friends for violent fun for the john, or simply disappearing themselves with the john's wallet. This is even truer overseas.

I live in an area where prostitution is illegal so every couple of years, a sting operation sticks it to guys trying to solicit hookers and their names and faces are posted all over the local media.
If someone is coming to my house, there's nothing to stop her boyfriend from using that address to invade my home the next night and steal all my shit.
If I'm meeting someone at a hotel, a similar kind of "robbery potential" exists.

I'm sure there are a myriad of ways to mitigate at least some of these risks but I'm just not that interested in trying to out think criminals to get a piece of ass. I don't climb mountains, drive fast motorcycles or skydive but plenty of people do so risk is a personal choice...not wrong or right just different.

As long as guys can become passport bros and blow off steam legally with escorts, it reduces the ability of the state controlled by feminists to demand absurd conditions for marriage or relationships. Desperate guys who want to get laid will agree to taking risks like losing their house, paying lifetime alimony and losing half their stuff by getting married - like I told one guy who wanted me to marry a relative of his - a woman with three kids who wanted to monkey branch - why would I risk my house with an American woman when I can get action in Tijuana for $20 anytime I want if I feel the need with no risk?

I just don't find it worthwhile, most of the time. There is the skanky element. There is the illegality and the risk to reputation. There is the risk of STDs. There is the risk of being robbed or ripped off. And ultimately, the sex itself isn't that enjoyable.

Part of this may be that I'm 61, so my libido isn't what it used to be (which to me is a good thing). I still enjoy an occasional roll in the hay, but it's down to about once a year. I just find "handling my own business" much easier, simpler, cheaper.

I can understand the rationale for some guys to do this given that we mostly live in a "dark matriarchy" in the current time period. However, as a counter argument to the OP also don't forget the risk of blackmail and entrapment. If you're mgtow you also need to win by not playing and protect yourself against hooker blackmail too. I guarantee you in almost every hotel nowadays there are cameras by every entrance, exit, hallway, and often inside of airbnbs. Trust me when I say this, nobody asked me if I wanted to be born before I was born into this fucking system. I couldn’t care less to “reform” the system. I've been to around 10 pro's and can honestly say - their lust for money is a turn-off and I see through their facade. By way of contrast, I also checked out streetwalkers in Honolulu, Hawaii. The streetwalkers were of decent quality and all, but ducking the cops was an issue and the vibe was much more paranoid and hurried. A lot less fun.

I was there twice: 1975-77 and 1982-85. I don't know anything about Honolulu today, but Honolulu was pretty wild back back in the 70s and 80s. It was a party town, kind of like New Orleans. You could drink and drive legally in the 70s, they had a main bar district as well as a "strip" of seedy gay bars and tranny bars (bars for transvestites) on the edge of town, etc.

I forget the name of the street where I picked up the streetwalkers, but it was right downtown, a couple blocks up from Waikiki and all the big-name hotels there. The streetwalkers weren't obvious, especially at the height of tourist season when the streets were crowded with tourists. Like I said above, the streetwalkers were of decent quality and presentable, so they blended in with the tourists. But they were there if you knew what to look for.

Feels like a waste of money after the clarity hits.
