    OMG, Nightmare!

I dreamed that I visited this small town in rural America where everyone was super nice, if not maybe unsophisticated. Everyone was hanging out for some kind of potluck, and it was super nice to meet people and get to know them. However, I had a terrible backache. There was this one rather attractive woman who I noticed, of course. She was tall and shapely with pretty, wavy black hair. I asked her if she would trade back rubs, and she said yes. So we found a place private and she started rubbing my back, which felt great, of course. However, it felt so great, I got the idea into my head that I had to bang her. So I started undressing her, and she cooperated. She was into it. It went well; it was some really passionate sex. However, when it was done, I realized the perfect way to knock up some strange woman who I barely knew was to just go and have sex with her without doing anything at all about birth control. So I started worrying I would end up in a shotgun wedding.

The entire town was nothing but trailer houses. She insisted that we go look at trailers, so we did. The salesman said that an east coaster like me got an automatic discount of $300. I said I wasn't from the east coast. He said that they just said that to anyone from anywhere near Philadelphia. I said I was from Arizona and he said "close enough."

The whole town was buzzing about how Matilda was marrying this east coaster and wondering which of the town's two churches the wedding would be in and what kind of trailer we would buy and what part of town we would park it in. I took a good look at Matilda and noticed that somehow in the day since we had done it, she was already a land whale, not from pregnancy, but from eating like a pig.

I told her that I suffered from chronic migraines that required special treatment. Matilda said that anyone who moved to their town experienced all of their maladies healing and going away completely. Then I noticed she had a terrible habit of burping and farting really loud in public. I politely asked her not to do that and she said, "You east coasters are so picky" and laughed. I said, "I'm not from the east coast. I'm from Arizona." "Close enough," she said.

I was looking for a way to bail out of there, but I noticed that every dude there carried either a military-style rifle with high capacity magazine, a shotgun, or some kind of handgun. Some carried more than one. One dude who was armed to the teeth gave a huge, creepy smile that revealed missing teeth and he said, "I'm shore glad you decided to do the right thing and marry Matilda. She's my sister." Then he gave me this huge uncomfortable hug and I noticed he smelled like cigarettes and booze, and he said, "You're my brother now."

I looked for a way out. One of the churches had a maze of catacombs underneath it. I went down there among all the skeletons and dead bodies trying to find my way out, but I kept finding dead ends, so I kept going through other parts of the maze, and all I found were really old coffins, skulls, and skeletons. Then I turned a corner and Matilda was standing there naked. She was way fatter than even before. She was morbidly obese, but she was posing like she was sexy. She said, "I thought I would find you here. It's the perfect place to have naughty sex. Come here, babe." She motioned with her finger and she looked more horrifying than any of the dead bodies down there. I screamed and ran, but there was no way out through the maze. I kept running into Matilda who was curling her index finger and grinning a sinister grin.

I must have passed out. When I came to, I was dressed on a tux and I was in a park that was set up for a wedding. A podium was set up in the front and there were a bunch of folding chairs facing it. People were already arriving and getting seated. Everyone was armed with their usual shotguns, AK-47s, and handguns. I was sweating, and I kept saying to my "brother" that "I don't know if this is a good idea." "Oh, you just have the jitters he said," and gave one of his revolting smiles.

I finally woke up. What a relief. Anyway, I know this was only a dream, but I thought you might enjoy my sharing it with you. It would seem my subconscious has a sick sense of humor that it likes torturing me with.

Mines lame, but it was my subconscious messing with me. I don't dream much, nor do they last long. But one made sense and lasted all night. I was visiting Nevada for the weekend, and ended up staying all summer. I don't even like Nevada, at least not that much. I had been having trouble with some people at work, and was getting fed up is all I could figure.

Your dreams are far sicker than mine, least this time.

Goddamn, that was an entertaining read, but I could really feel the panic and revulsion, haha I often have dreams myself, but they're usually weird, though I'm afraid I'll dream something likewise tonight just because I read this thread. Fuck.

    Re: OMG, Nightmare!

I still have nightmares about being back in high school and I graduated 20 years ago.

I also have dreams about a friend I had back in my childhood, whom are related to my half brother. I miss them both since 2000.
It's a man's world and we need to take it by the throat and make it give us what we desire.

I’ve had nightmares since childhood, but story wise, compared to this they’re boring turgid shit. My compliments to you sir. I applaud your subconscious imagination.

And yet, I feel your pain. Nightmares, in whatever form are scary fuckers.

I used to have nightmares about still being in the Army after my ETS date (end term of service, or something like that). Had them regular for a good twenty years after getting out. Or sometimes I'd dream I parked my bike, then spend the rest of the night walking around looking for it.

Then there was the younger flier asking the Viet Nam vet if he still had nightmares. "Yeah", he says. "When did you have the last one?" "Last night", he says.
