    Are men obsolete?

    Good evening gents

I stumbled across this youtube comment from this guy named Andy Stokes and I want to share that especially for our female lurkers.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Here it goes:

The last woman - ''Did you hear that men are going to be obsolete because we're making synthetic sperm ........

Make a case for men.'' OK, challenge accepted. If you, lady want to eat crab salad you get in your car, drive to the supermarket, buy the provisions, drive back home and cook your meal - simple. Now let's imagine a world without men, you want to cook crab salad, you get in your car except you have no car because generally, you don't work in car construction plants, even if you did where are you getting the steel from? The foundry - are you going to start working in a steel foundry? Where are you getting the iron ore from? How many women work in mining? How are you getting the iron ore to the foundry, you're going to have to get a load more female truck drivers. You're also going to need coal - are you going to dig it out the ground yourselves?

Let's ignore that for a minute - your car won't start because there is no petrol unless women also start drilling, can't see that happening. We'll ignore that for a minute - where is the road? Who laid the road? How many women do that sort of work? Where are you getting the materials to build the road, we're back to the mining and drilling problem.

We'll ignore that for a minute, we'll assume that by some miracle that you have a car with petrol and a road to drive along when you get to the supermarket you find there is no crab, why is that? Well, we've all seen 'Deadliest Catch', we all know how difficult, dangerous and uncomfortable crab fishing is, how many women are employed doing that? How many would have the physical strength to do it? How many would even want to?

Even ignoring that for a minute where are you getting your boat from? Assuming that some of your sisters are now running the foundry to supply the steel how many of them are going to operate the machinery to build a boat, how many female welders are out there?

We'll ignore these minor problems just for the sake of argument. Let's say that yes, you manage to buy your crab and you drive home. When I say home you have to wonder how your house got built in the first place. Are we having women taking over construction? How many sisters are going to become bricklayers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, roofers? Are you ladies going to be installing all the drainage? Without the work currently mainly undertaken by men, you would have no home.

We'll ignore this minor inconvenience just for a minute. You now want to cook your crab, simple enough task, just put it in a pan of water and turn on the gas and hey-presto, one cooked crab. That assumes that you have both gas and water, how many women work in the gas industry or the water supply industry at a hands-on level. You can count them on all the fingers of one foot. Yes, it is theoretically possible for women to do all of these tasks, the real question is - would you actually want to or would you rather leave the men to do this sort of work. If you are going to say that women would cope, fine, all I would suggest is that next time your drain backs up, rather than asking a man to clear it you get the drain rods out and do it yourself. Us men would be more than happy to watch.

Alternatively, I as a man would be only too happy to cook you a crab salad and serve it up for you when you get home from a 10-hour shift in a coal mine, steel foundry, laying drains, building roads, laying bricks or fishing for crab.

It was a beautiful read and I needed to share this great comment with you guys.

LOL! There was a video where a guy asked young women what men do better than women. I heard crickets chirping. The silence of the lambs!!!

    Re: Are men obsolete?

I'd like to add something to this. As much as I agree with this being significant to women thinking men are obsolete, its also quite significant to men who think all those jobs are "low status" jobs.

I myself dont know how to do ANY of those jobs (mining, plumbing, building roads, etc), which is why I decided to make this post. When I was a kid, I was told by the people around me that if I work hard and be obedient, I will get a high paying, high status, more honorable, more comfortable job. And was also told that if I disobey the system, I will get these low paying, low status, "dirty" and tiring work. The point is, its not just that its only women who deride men working these jobs, its other men too.

As I grew older and developed more understanding, I developed more and more respect for the men working these jobs. The sad part is, these jobs are actually very low paying in my country, mostly because of overpopulation messing up with demand vs supply mechanism. Now whenever I get to see these people work when called to fix little household things, I try to learn as much as I can and then later try myself things which are not dangerous, like clearing the drainage block. Though I admit, I still stay away from relatively more involved and dangerous tasks like fixing electrical wiring.

    Slaves are obsolete

    Indentured servants are obsolete

So yea, we're obsolete, time to put ourselves away for that purpose and find a new purpose, one that does silent damage and devastation to those that made us obsolete.

What women think, and the real world, tends to be a little different.
How much difference is there between obsolete and being invisable?

No difference, their definition of obsolete is purely utilitarian, on this end of the equation it means being unbridled to their all purpose utility wagon complete with a daily chores list for a 28 hour day! To the men still pulling that cart under threat of legal whips and spurs, sucks to be you! Plan your own damn escape or tow that wagon to your grave! I don't make reality, I merely interpret it in my own way! Gas-lighting me is like holding a candle to a 10mt. nuclear detonation! It won't get far with me!

I got another woman prospecting me to tow her wagon, she'll have to keep on towing it herself, otherwise it's not my turn, never was, never will be, I'm a nice-guy, but with teeth! It's a social contract where horse meets driver, whips, and chains! Tear that shit up and throw it away!

This is a big reason why I can't do office jobs for long. I prefer working outdoors or being part of a process toward building something that actually progresses civilization even though I have not much of a stake in it. However, the alternative is becoming a paper pusher or even a mail courier for documents doesn't sit well with me. This is because if I am going to do menial work I want to contribute to something I can re-visit many years later or actually physically show others that I was part of the process. Hard to do that if you work from a cubicle.

Maintaining water quality, helping build the foundation of an entire apartment complex, testing for an entire new park to be developed from the ashes of derelict facility, road ways, retail centers, family homes, schools, fire stations, etc. Those memories of days in the sun, wind and rain in great and poor outdoor conditions are seared into my mind. Office jobs? Don't remember my first day and I only remember my last days there.

    Re: Are men obsolete?

Humans beings decide to learn and improve themselves because:

Recognition (social validation) - this is important and not to be discarded.
    Material reward. (money)

Men have for a long time prided themselves on ''knowing''. When was the last time a male neighbour came to your house and fixed the showers for free?

In the Middle East, this happens on a daily basis, because the society is less advanced.

In the west however, even men who are knowledgable with manual labour, have no:

    Recognition (either society or family)
Material reward (salaries are declining, inflation)

But also comfort. Men have rediscovered that slowing down and being comfortable is important and good for their body and spirit.

In that sense, men have become less useful to society, to women and to their male friends as well.

But in answer to the OP, yes men have become obsolete, but it isn't something which should worry MGTOW. It is something that worries women and other anti male groups in the gynocracy (white knights, blue pillers etc).

Men becoming obsolete is an issue, especially since they will have nothing to hand down to the generations below them. But this is a problem which is going to hit society and women much harder than men - because men don't need much to survive.

Along with that, there will be less respect, less authority, less discipline, and other ''masculine'' notions which are helpful for a healthy society.

I use public transport everyday here in London, no one gives up their seats, to the elderly, the weak, the disabled, the pregnant.

I am not some evil psychopath, but why should a man give up his comfort for someone else? Fortunately or unfortunately, this is the mantra of the times we are living it, and you certainly cannot blame MGTOW for this shit. We didn't start it.
A mother cannot raise a boy to be a man, not because he needs a father figure; but because she favours team vagina over her own son.

Tradcon women are the most manipulative of all kinds of women, because they infect you with false hope.
Radfems are your best friend, because they hate you and verbalise it - that's honesty!

The red pill rage is a process which takes many many years - so be kind and patient with yourself.

I would just like to add self-reliance to this list. I cannot speak to other's motivations but this is a very strong one with me.
