Thread: NY Elevates 'Horned' Statue Paying Homage to Feminist Icon RBG and Abortion - Critics Say It Looks 'Satanic'

The recent addition of an unusual eight-foot golden statue atop a New York state courthouse in New York City is causing a stir with some questioning what exactly the statue represents.
The statue of a horned female was recently installed on top of the Courthouse of the Appellate Division, First Department of the Supreme Court of the State of New York. It stands alongside other sculptures depicting historical, religious, and other legendary lawgivers, all of them men.

The female sculpture with hair braided like spiraling horns was installed as part of an exhibition that opened last week.
It's the first female statue to adorn one of the Appellate courthouse's 10 plinths, dominated for more than a century by now weathered statues representing great lawgivers throughout the ages — all of them men.
Shahzia Sikander, who created the sculpture, says it supports women's rights, abortion, and the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, as seen in the statue's special collar. Sikander, a 53-year-old Pakistani American artist, writes, "The luminous figure is also a nod to RBG – as seen in the detail adorning her collar. With Ginsburg's death and the reversal of Roe, there was a setback to women's constitutional progress."

For all of her fancy and artistic gaslighting of the issue, Sikander, the artist, pretty much acknowledged Satan, right there.

This shit always happens before the Collapse.

Check out the stories of Livia and the Julias (the slore mother, daughter of Octavius, and her equally wanton daughter, Julia the Younger) with Octavian/Augustus, Tiberius, Caligula, Claudius, and Nero. Basically since Octavian, powerful Julian-Claudii women were manipulating the Emperors and undermining their social/moral reforms deliberately and sneeringly.

I have to get into the deeper history of Vespasian onwards, but one of the big reasons for the collapse of the Republic was the newfound wantoness of Women. It seems to come about when a society gets very prosperous and powerful, and lets it's guard down.

It's just another piece of cultural trash clogging the filters of social harmony.

They can destroy society but they can't destroy my soul and they can't destroy righteousness. All they do is make a good backdrop and stronger contrast to that righteousness. Righteousness vs. evil, is like oil and water's line of delineation, it moves around, never mixes, and righteousness always comes out on top. They spend their whole lives frantically mixing them up to no avail. It's allot of work and frustration painting evil over good only to have it peel off before it dries.

This sculpture has nothing to do with the justice system (IMO) and so is misplaced.

That said, I kinda like it as a depiction of woman.

The braided hair in the shape of ram’s horns eloquently describes their willingness to butt heads over anything and everything regardless of merit. The ram’s head is also symbolic of devil worship – seems apt.

I also like the tentacle-like protuberances instead of arms symbolising their never-ending need to meddle in everything they can.

I agree, a forked tongue would set this off nicely.

How appropriate that this piece of shit sits on top of a courthouse, the very place where women show their truest colors as they try to destroy those around them.

Absolutely bizarre.

It looks like they allowed it cause it's a diversity hire designed statue sprinkled with some gynocentric bullshit about womens rights which are already overabundant.

NYC - ofcourse it's in that shithole infront of a courthouse where they setup a revolving door for criminals to walk in and out.

Even the smile looks evil.

The arms look like the coat hangers they use to abort the unborn. Quite fitting really.

I also find it fitting that the statue looks Satanic. How does one celebrate the idea of abortion? How does one kill the unborn within them and then cheers about it?

Statues don't matter when any invading force can pull it down.

They prove that themselves every time they take one down that is part of history.
