Thread: Why do married men try to set you up with a woman?

There is an unhappily married man (his admission) trying to set me up with a girl. What the hell!? Are they just jealous of my 'single-ness' and trying to get me to join their misery? Why would married men do this?

Have you guys experienced this?

They do it for the same reason a crack-head or heroin junkie wants you to join them, because misery loves company.

I could understand why a happily married man would do this. But he admits he is unhappily married.

It happens all the time.

They argue that despite the troubles it is worth it and that I am missing out. Jokes on them.

Honestly if the goal is to be laid you don't need marriage for that and that is often a belief coming from older tradcons. But younger men that are married believe they are superior than you in social status. So, in their pea brains they believe they are helping you out by climbing the social ladder.

In reality men that are single are higher on the social ladder. Women know this, most "alpha" men know this. But the rest of the men that are drones simply. do. not. understand. Only advantage of being married as a man is social proof to other women which fades as soon as you are seen carrying around a woman's hand bag.

Entertainment industry has really done a number on what was common knowledge many years ago.

I was going to use the same analogy but with a more common substance.....tobacco. They start with "I only smoke at weekends" and quickly end up full time addicted. But they still try and recruit you as a teenager despite the fact they can't give up and it's costing them loads of money. It's like they know it's wrong and not how they thought it would be so it makes them feel better if "everyone's" doing it.

Potential reasons
1) His wife pushed him to ask you. His wife is trying to get her friend hitched, thus the GF will owe his wife
2) Maybe if you had a wife/gf then the 4 of you could socialize
3) Misery loves company, rather than jealousy

In my experience, the only men that tried to set me up, it was with a homely daughter. Other than that, its always been women

I think there's a "validation factor" at work here as well. It's the false belief that if lots of people around you are doing something, then it must be right -- or at least be okay. Or at least be "not stupid." And then you don't look like a fool for doing it. So, the more people doing it, the better for one's own validation. It's just another form of relativism.

Every human interaction is encased by a thing we call "law".
Take into consideration "law" is now groomed and trimmed way the lawmakers see fit while these same lawmakers are blinded by their own bigotry and ignorance.

The law has been commandeered to scrub natural law away, making masculinity illegal and punishable in every facet and location.

It's like making a law that breathing is illegal, then collecting fines and imposing prison sentences for simply being natural by breathing. This is the new altered reality and altered state we live in, masculinity is treated like a beast while all the ills and woes of female nature are getting a free pass to act naturally, to follow their instincts, to make laws to enforce their warped beliefs.

A man walks alone in this valley of legal death and destitute desperation, otherwise we deceive ourselves and pay a terrible price for our nature.

Life is dictated by nature's irrefutable laws, at the same time society's laws have warped into and subjected to mountains of gynocentric legislation undermining any footing or chance for masculinity to survive under these hostile and aggressive conditions.

Punching your MGTOW ticket is the only hope of being at peace and preservation where culture is at war with nature.

I've been off that battlefield and living in peace with tranquility for 24 years, this is home to me and I can't surrender or give it up! I'll live a thousand years like this before I'll surrender to gynocentrism and the poison it represents!

You know, something just occurred to me: I've had more (married) women than men try to fix me up with women. Furthermore, those single women were so wrong for me it was ludicrous.

What was the common thread? They all worked with me, so they knew the positions I held paid well.

My story was worse than this! My mothers friend actually had a young 21 female attractive nurse over. When she was drunk she asked her if she wanted to meet her son. She actually took the girl up to my bedroom. I saw the girl was drunk and I immediately asked them both to leave. I am pretty sure I saved myself from a potential rape allegation or sexual harassment.

That being said my new strategy is just to invent a wife and buy a wedding ring on my finger. It ends all discussion.

When they don't know your name, address, or who you are, then it's okay to fuck their brains out, as long as you slip back into the foggy darkness. I fucked drunk chicks and didn't know their names or where they were from. My buddy and I fucked two drunk chicks behind a tobacco barn in Connecticut and nobody new anybody's name, just two drunk dudes fucking two drunk chicks behind a tobacco barn at 3:00AM.

He asked directly, "Don't you want a child?" I said I'd need a wife first before I had a child. (He had a child out of wedlock so he was pressured to marry the girl.) He was very unhappy when he heard of a nerdy hobby I had continued doing (girls hate such hobby haha).

He has expressed glee when a co-worker thought something was wrong with his girlfriend ("Maybe she's pregnant!").

It does seem like he wants me to knock some girl up just so I'd be as miserable as he is.

Be aware of the concept of pre selection, a lot of women will have the fantasy of trying to steal you from your "wife".

Yeah pre-selection is a very strong force. I went MGTOW back when I was 24 (10 years now) and thankfully I am no longer aesthetically pleasing enough for women to chase.
