    Red-pilled?

So Jordan Peterson is tradcon, but because of this he sees the forces against his notion of the perfect life, so he calls them out. What he sees may not be what we see, but he calls out at least part of the puzzle. Is this not at least the first step?

People come on in stages. Maybe they need to see the likes of Peterson (who seems to be highly acclaimed in the blue-pill world – from my own experience), and listen not only to his assertions of why it doesn’t work for him, but extrapolate these arguments and see why it doesn’t work in general.

“Hey, he has a point here; maybe I’ll go looking further in to this.” You get the gist?

As I’ve said before, I’m not a vid watcher, I don’t follow twitter feeds and I don’t use facebook. – NOT INTERESTED.

But about a year before joining this site I seen a Jordan Peterson interview. This was the first time I heard someone saying at least some of what I’d been seeing. It was a revelation to me that people were actually speaking about such things, up until then I thought it was only me.

This peaked my interest but I didn’t take it much further – meh, someone’s saying some things that I knew for ages.

Then I was watching a YouTube vid on reconstructing old cars. I’m not mad in to cars exactly, but I am interested in engineering – how things work. What better way to understand how cars work than by reconstructing one – sound! So I settled in.

Great vid and great comments afterwards. Many of them coming from a guy with a MGTOW logo. So I clicked on the logo.

This brought me to links to MGTOW sites, one of them being here, this site.

So I read through many of the articles being posted and many of the archives, and I realised these people are more like me than I seen in Jordan Peterson. They can often see beyond the obvious. Peterson is locked in his tradcon cell and this is the source of his problems: he can’t see through it. He’s nearly there, but he just can’t shake the fact that he was duped.

My point: Jordan Peterson may be tradcon, but he’s out there being read and listened to and for those that are seeing some of the things that we see maybe he is something of a stepping stone, a guide to light the way?

Naw, he’s just a “this is the way”, “bring us back to the fold” - DICK!

Truly, this is now my view of the guy, but some of the things he says make sense. Take wisdom where you find it!

That is how I view it as well regarding Peterson and similar men like him. Important info and wisdom but always make sure to vet from what place they are coming from regarding their worldview and how men should fit into this world. The path toward MGTOW can come from many places both expected and unexpected!

Your analogy can be extended to MRAs because some MRAs do believe in the concept of traditional marriage while other MRAs realize the entire court system is corrupt along with child custody. Maternal presumption may no longer be on the books in most western countries but the assumption a woman is a better care giver still happens in a court of law.

Still I find the information from MRAs valuable even if I do not agree often with their methods or approach toward tackling the creeping shadow of gynocracy.

Bar bar is another example as he had a hiatus from posting mgtow content, because of school, work and he was in a LTR with a woman. Doesn't invalidate the previous insights bar bar provided for the mgtow community. And I still look at bar bar's more recent work too. Just have to be realistic and realize no one is perfect and we all have to vet sources and whom we follow.

And you are right to take the information and wisdom that is useful. I think Dr. Peterson is a wonderful and useful resource for young men to build their self esteem up and confidence levels.

But beyond that I would advise lurkers and many other men to broaden their horizons if they want to go deeper into topics like relationships and the challenges of life. Peterson loves the structure of a box, but as we all know that isn't how life truly is as everyone else is playing the game outside the box.
