One of the funniest/saddest thing I ever witnessed was at an Old Country Buffet. I was probably around 10, and there was this family of fatties. The manager of the restaurant was talking to the staff, and the next thing the police are in the restaurant. The cop goes over to the father and tells him that he will spare his family embarrassment if he walks away with him. The father starts back-talking the cop, and he tells everyone in the family to stand up. He orders them to remove all food they have either put in their pockets, purses, or backpacks.
