I was abused SO MUCH by society

I used to follow the twitch streamer hasanabi and I agreed with most of his politics, but when it comes to men's issues he and his community are complete assholes.

They were so condescending to me on the subreddit when I shared the problems i was having with women and they would literally be like "women don't owe you anything, work on yourself" and then was like "wtf, i never said they owed me anything" and they are like "we have all given you good advice, you're just an incel!" fucking toxic assholes and they didn't give me any advice they were all literally taking potshots at me and I'm 33 now but I've pretty much been abused by social media for the past 10 years of my life trying to figure out WTF is wrong with me and dealing with mental health issues and it really screwed me up and I don't know how I am ever going to get better because I just feel mentally broken and I can't stop thinking of all the horrible things I've gone through in my life.

The part about working on yourself is correct, although not for the approval or acceptance of women, but so you are happy with YOU.

People are always going to be judgmental assholes. It’s their nature. They’re particularly cruel and cynical when it comes to things they don’t understand or can’t relate to. I’m in my late 30s now and one of the best aspects of getting a little older is that you begin to see people for what they truly are and not give a shit what they have to say. At the end of the day, what makes people an authority on anything?

Anyone can talk a big game on social media. I can post messages claiming that I have the biggest dick, the loudest truck, the most money, and countless women throwing snatch at me like loose change. It doesn’t prove anything or make any of it true. It’s all internet fluff and everybody and their asshole brother is an ego case when it comes to flaunting themselves on social media.

Stop giving people power over your emotions and self-perception. Do you believe those things they say about you to be true? If not, what does it matter?

Fuck them and their social media. Look out for you and take care of you. Nobody else will.

    Take care, man.

That's typical of today's anti-male attitudes today. It used to be that a dude was allowed to be bummed out if he didn't get together with the woman he wanted. It was considered normal for a guy to want someone and then to give it a shot. Nowadays, you'll get all kinds of shitty attitude like "quit acting entitled to sex," as well as the bullshit you've mentioned. It's all the more reason to just flip off the whole shitty system and go MGTOW. Nowadays it's, "How dare you even want to find a girlfriend" thought control. They'll brand it as "entitled to sex" for having normal sexual instincts.

Even though we've walked away, we know that the men still in the game aren't morally wrong somehow for approaching women and asking for dates. We just know the system is so skewed in women's favor that you're better off abandoning it. Today's Woke Mind Police treat men as morally wrong for EVERYTHING. You're wrong for even asking for a phone number. How the fuck else would someone get a date?

EVERYTHING is labeled creepy. You could walk into a supermarket and ask an innocent question like, "Where do you guys have your bread," and it could be branded creepy. It's absurd.

If you go MGTOW, you can flip off all the bullshit and just build up a great life.

Unfortunately like tigplaze said, they and most of society is anti-male and really anti heterosexual male sexuality.

Guys like hasanabi, and women will never have empathy for male problems especially dating issues so in that regards it really no point looking for emapth or support from them so separate from them.

If you still want play the game it best to either get as jacked as possible to become a chad or get a passport and find a women in a more reasonable location.

If not then can use substitutes for sex such as sex toys, dolls and/or porn. Or even go monk

Either way you have to develop a solid emotional supportice relationship with yourself. A relationship with yourself is the most important relationship in your life. For "working on yourself" make sure to have a end goal in mind. You don't want to spend every moment of life endlessly running on the self improvement treadmill. Once you reach you desire lifestyle then you simply maintain what you have.

It's been 10 years as you've put it, have you noticed that the problem is social media and what are you going to do about it?

Don't ever give someone ammunition that can be used against you.

Ok, here there is some common respect amongst the members, but if you share some juicy tidbit (weakness) it can and likely will be thrown back at you. (Hopefully in jest). Not many other forums are like this one.

Abraham Lincoln - Quote - Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt - It's better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid.

I find it best to review historical posts rather than starting your own new one. Chances are someone else has posted about the same problem. It is easy to see the atmosphere of the forum by reading other replies. No point in asking the same question that was ignored 2 weeks ago.

You want to know how to solve problems dealing with women? Leave them to Chad and Tyrone, that is who they want to be with anyway. Go Your Own Way, work on you for your own benefit. No woman wants a broken man, it is not her position in life to mend you. You need to fix you before you can ever think about someone else. Women destroy men, they never fix them.

Social media can be very toxic. Limit your exposure to toxic places or that toxicity will grow in you. Go to self-help or self-education sites or videos, work on you for you.

    Hi Presium,

That was an angry or bitter post you just made.

I'm sorry that you are going through mental health issues, as you describe it, but I have to do my job and pay attention to where you are at.

Where you are at, is that you are in a MGTOW website and you are saying you were having problems with women.

MGTOW do not have problems with women. How along ago are you talking about?

Are you still interacting with women to this degree? What do you want from women?

I don't think you are MGTOW. I think you came here on the rebound from problems you are having elsewhere.

    Speak to this, please.

Herein lies at least part of your problem. (Highlighted)

You say you have mental health issues and don’t know what’s wrong with you. I empathise having been there myself, but you are seeking solutions from the wrong places.

You say you have been pretty much abused through social media for the last 10 or so years? Why do you persist in walking down an avenue of abuse?

You cannot stop thinking of all the horrible things that you’ve gone through yet actively seek out more of the same?

Why are you so enamoured with social media that you would put yourself through such an ordeal?

How to stop beating yourself up about past wrongs that have been done to you:

Teach yourself to recognise when you are headed in that direction with your thoughts and develop countermeasures. Distract yourself from thoughts of the past with goals for the future.

Dwelling on the past, things that are set and can never change is in your case destructive. Instead train yourself to concentrate on those aspects of your life that you can change and improve upon and what you need to do to accomplish this.

Yeah I’m making it sound simple when it’s anything but. Teaching yourself to take enjoyment out of small things is a start.

Baby steps at first. It will take time so give yourself this time. Soon you’ll be walking, then running, wondering why you were being so destructive to yourself.

At times like this there is also some truth in the saying: “Fake it till you make it.” Convincing yourself that you are happy, even for just a few moments, can expand exponentially until you no longer have to “Fake it”.

Get some real-life counselling to help you on your way. Social media is toxic to you so abandon it.

Actually, for the most part it’s toxic to everyone so don’t go thinking that you’re alone in this revelation.

I’ll finish by wishing you luck and future happiness and say that, like everything worth having it takes determination and perseverance. Looking to strangers on the internet is not helping you.

Then why are you on social media at all? Seriously. All it's done is provide you with a decade of abuse and yet you somehow keep returning to it? Does that make any sense to you? I ask that because it makes no sense to me and many of the others who've replied to your post.

There's an old joke about some guy who is constantly banging his head against a wall. Someone asks him why he's doing that and he answers "Because it feels so good when I stop." Avoid social media for a while and you'll start feeling better.

As for the all rest, MGTOW will definitely help as will practicing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). You can learn about MGTOW here and there are any number of books explaining CBT methodologies. You may need the "jump start" a therapist can provide however.

Hey sorry for the late reply. Yeah I am MGTOW and mgtow has saved my life. I am not having any problems with any women. My post was more about the stuff I been dealing with for the past several years. I have no interest in chasing women or playing the game any more!

    Very good.

The only thing I might suggest along these lines of talking about your history of issues moving forward is that you do as you did here just now and make clear what is old stuff and what is current stuff. Not only will this prevent the mods from swooping in like I did to challenge your presence here but will help other members, who may want to assist you, to understand what is relevant to you today.

In fact, I think you may have made that distinction quite well in a new thread you made earlier today.

    Thank you.
