    health issue

To my MGTOW friends, I have not posted anything in quite some time. I was recently diagnosed with malignant multiple myeloma stage III (bone marrow cancer). Came out of nowhere. I am currently undergoing an aggressive chemotherapy regimen given the advanced nature of my cancer. The chemo is rough. My oncologist has given me a good prognosis for getting past this disease due my otherwise excellent health for a 57-year-old man, but there are no guarantees. I do not seek attention, sympathy, or pity. I share this information here purely out of trust and respect for my MGTOW brothers. This may be purely anecdotal, but I’ve garnered far more support and offers of assistance from my male friends and co-workers than any female counterparts of the same persuasion. To claim the feminine is the more compassionate sex is a gross misrepresentation of what I’ve actually experienced during this difficult time. I wish you all the best over the upcoming holiday season.

I can only say, May G_D be with you, and wish you the best of luck.... I had prostate cancer about 15 years ago, which I lucky to be cured, but I still remember how I felt during that time .............

Hopefully, you can continue to visit us from time to time—if your health permits it. In my own case, whenever I am in pain, I have often found external distraction to be a good means of alleviation (at least if the pain is not too intense).

Keep us in the loop if at all possible, Callahan. I've been around a lot of cancer in my life. Seems to run in my family. Not the kind you are experiencing though.

As long as you stay active and eat plenty inbetween chemo sessions you will do good. Just have to make sure to stick with your regiment and if they offer a physical therapist to help with cardio that helps a lot to keep heart and muscles healthy.

Good luck man. Make sure you try out that CBD loaded cannabis oil for alternate treatment and appetite maintenance.

Hang in there. I remembwd the Dirty Harry avatar.
Came out of nowhere. I am currently undergoing an aggressive chemotherapy regimen given the advanced nature of my cancer. The chemo is rough.
I remember an Uncle who was stage 4 lung cancer in his early 40s. That chemo made him a skeleton. Kinda like Rock Hudson in the mid 80s versus the late 70s before the AIDS in the mid 80s. He too had grown a mustache incidentally. In case, he had a separated wife come back to take care of him. She had a career and did not need the money or anything either. Obviously gone at 42. Too bad the guy did not live to 43 like I am.

Enough about him or me. Glad your fighting the fight and have a chance to get through to the other side.

My oncologist has given me a good prognosis for getting past this disease due my otherwise excellent health for a 57-year-old man, but there are no guarantees.
Glad you got good odds predicted by the doc. The side effect of living well enough to be in otherwise very well shape is paying off.

Fuck. Make sure you surround yourself with people who are willing and able to take care of you (family, close friends). Men tend to be sacrificial and often want to solve things on their own. Don´t try to beat this on your own, it may mean the difference between living and dying.

    Re: health issue

Hang in there bro, you can beat this. Just FYI, those who are suggesting cannabis is right on target. It helped me through a lot of pain in my arm that I had, it also helped my friends mother through her cancer. It dulls the pain, eases nauseousness and is relaxing. Of course this is assuming it is legal for medical use in your state. If your not a smoker I would suggest it in some cookies or brownies, tends to work better and last longer for pain. Vape pens is also good, does not last as long as food, however is probably the cheapest of all the options. Oh and if your worried about being addicted to that shit, don't. The other pain meds are far more addictive with a lot more side effects. Putting down cannabis is about as easy as giving up drinking milk. Hell come to think of it I would have a harder time giving up coffee that I did giving up cannabis (notice how I have not given up coffee).

I wish you the best my friend.
