    God, they don't last long

She was so hot in "Stop making sense". Still a decent bass player, but the magic is gone.

She's in her 70's now but then David Byrne is only two years younger and he looks in much better condition.

If it makes you feel any better I came across this clip from her younger days and it looks like she is doing some kind of strange Feminazi tribal dance. Not sexy at all but reading the comments, I saw the Simps were out in force.

Must be tough getting old in that business, whether female or male.

I'm a big "Blasters" fan, that mash of cowpunk and rock 'n' roll. Phil Alvin was a hoot. But he's in rough shape now.

    Before: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UpgAHjTTqc (super funny intro)

After: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7zdV_Gjxus (First song there's a mic too close to the crash cymbal but it gets fixed shortly after.)

I'm a fan of 80's hard rock and it is sad seeing some of the guys still trying to pull off the look of the day when they are in their 50's or older.

lol, yeah, she actually looks pretty good for someone in her 70s. I'd hit it (no, j/k). Actually, I never thought Tina Weymouth looked great, even when she was younger, but hey, to each his own. She was married to the guitarist, iirc. Wonder if she still is. I think I see a ring on her finger (damn! my chances with granny are foiled).

It *almost* (I said -almost-) makes you feel sorry for women. They have 10-15 years of "rock star" (intense) physical attractiveness, and then it's a slow (or maybe rapid) decline into being drab at best or unattractive at worst.

Once you see this, you become aware of the folly of marrying a woman for her beauty. (of course, there's plenty of other reasons that marriage is a bad idea)

"Nature, which has distinguished men by their reason and bodily strength, has set no other bounds to their power than those of this strength and reason.
It has given charms (physical beauty and wiles) to women, and ordained that their ascendancy over man shall end with these charms...but these are found only at the beginning (in youth), and never in the progress (in old age) of life."
