    My Favorite Man Cave

This is the man cave of my dreams, which won't happen until I get some major amount of money. I want those pinball machines, the bar and the restaurant booth. When you take a pinball break, you can sit down and enjoy a beer, mozzarella sticks and a cheese burger with your buddies. This is how a man should be living; no wife, no kids, no debts and freedom to have fun in the man cave just you and the buddies.

It's a man's world and we need to take it by the throat and make it give us what we desire.

Have you had any exposure to EM (electro-mechanical) pinball machines? Just wondering.

I don't know what that is. I told you in my Intro which games I have a background in. I also play PS4 pinball until I get a machine; some day in the future.

Oh, you bet, I knew those ones you liked. I noticed they were entirely solid state games (digital score displays). I was just wondering if you ever saw EM games, too. They are mostly in the hands of collectors now, but some public arcades have them for play.

Solid state scoring on pinball machines commenced in 1977. Games made from the early 50s to 1977 used rotating wheels with numbers painted on them, known as score reels.

Here's what EM game scoring looks like. On this game, a set of five score reels for each of four players:

The little white window in the lower right corner of the backglass displays the credits paid for or earned.

No solid state components. Everything was leaf switches, relays, and gears. Entirely electromechanical.

Pinball? Shit, I live in Wizard county!

Marriage, dating, divorce, and breakups, are on the rocky road of female empowerment, a road that goes nowhere else but misery and hardship.

What if I told you there's another road, a road less traveled, a road straight and narrow, free of bandits, checkpoints, taxes, and tolls?

No I haven't played those kind of pinball games. The oldest game I think I ever played was High Speed, which came out in 1986, when I was only 4.
