Heck, lecturing anybody all for pretense is completely fucked up.
Standard operating procedure for all women, this is hardly unique to her. Think about the millions of times a day a man is held hostage by a woman's "feelings", it is generally going to all be an act 100% of the time. She was just young and stupid, and made a mistake by telling me something I already knew. An older woman would not make that mistake, and would never trust a man with inside information about the various lies and conspiracies a woman has based her life around.

No, you don't. And this is the point about gynocentrism; the idea that throughout history, society tends to take the female view on any subject, any social issue.
That is an excellent point. This is a problem that can be solved, let us peel a couple more layers off of this onion.

Women are deeply concerned with how men perceive them, their entire existence is based on manipulating male perceptions. Their narcissism comes from the fact that their entire value in life is based on how men perceive them, they build up these fake personas and fake beauty for the purpose of inflating their market value. So shaming them for ruining the environment only works if their market value cannot be inflated by doing these things. Dumb men (some of them quite rich and/or handsome) continue to prefer the girl wearing her war paint and a micro-plastic dress, so she will continue to do that because she is "appealing to her base".

So what is the solution? Shame any man who goes for any women who wears make up, polyester clothes, goes shopping, etc... By appealing to male morality, with enough support, women would immediately cease that behavior if it is tanking their market value. But of course, in modern dating it is only Chad that really has an audience with them. I have lectured women before on this, particularly in situations where they are interested in me, and I clearly have higher market value. If they started hearing this repeatedly from one guy after another, they would immediately change their habits.

I really doubt it, a woman's makeup and clothes are used to impress other women.
As a man you're irrelevant to their life.

Male materialism tends to be about building a collection. Time, money and joy invested means you cherish it all.

Female materialism is indeed focused on feelings that are fleeting and come and go like the wind.

Other women don't pay the bills. Unless you are a Kartrashian, a "professional social media influencer" or a "make up mogul",. then other women do pay the bills.

How much more trash do women generate? What happens to all the empty lipstick containers? What happens to all the make containers when empty? All the brushes, cotton balls, etc. Used to put on and take off makeup? All the makeup, hairspray?

Landfill and ground water and air pollution.

I once went to a beach that was entirely covered in used tampon plastic tubes.
    Millions and millions of them.

Cultures that banish them to a menstruation hut until they stop bleeding got it right. It does nobody any good to have them wandering around freely because of tampons, terrible invention.
