    Economic polygamy and behavioural evolution

    This was posted on reddit theredpill. It's quite fascinating. Right at the end, he mentions two types of polygamy - one caused by shortage of males, the other spread about according to the amount of resources (economic polygamy; wealthy men would have more wives, like I touched on in another thread by citing an example from early Mormon culture).
