Does anybody else feel physically ill thinking about Modern Society?

I was really thinking about this earlier. I am at what you would call marriage age now in my 30s. I remember being a much younger man about 20 years ago. This was well before social media really "boomed". I remembered being very hopeful for the future. And now that this milestone is so close to passing I am a mixed of extremely shocked with a side of sickness. The thought of me marrying into what Western society has become, quite honestly kills my erection. I am horrified and what we've turned into. I don't even wanna...well, you get the point. Just WTF. now there are 25 different genders, gay is straight, straight is gay, monogamy is bad, everything is "offensive", men are women, women are men. People are fucking glued to their phones and don't so much as look at you, much less hold a conversation and of course social media runs the show. I just....I just want to hop into a time machine and go back to about 2003-2007 and stop. Society, I am very dissapointed in you. I feel like I'm living in some sort of insane asylum. A global Weimar Republic that has spread and metastasized like a cancer.

You're spot-on that marriage and dating are total train wrecks. Much of society is based on fanatical ideologies both on the left and on the right. However, you're missing one thing. You can still claim sovereignty over your life. You can still build a great life. The challenge is doing that with the train wreck lunatic world all around you. If there's something you love to do like working out, playing an instrument, learning another language, do that, and learn to do it well. Work on your own financial well being. Now that you won't be throwing your money down the black hole that is dating and marriage, use it for yourself! Invest in your retirement, buy some things that make you happy. There's a massive load of crap out there, but there are still worthwhile things.

If I could go back in time, I would love to do the 80s and 90s all over again, even though I was born in 1982. Life was so much better back then, and it was easier and more enjoyable, except for school where I got bullied every day all day long.
It's a man's world and we need to take it by the throat and make it give us what we desire.

I would go back to about 1960 if I could, but that's not possible. We can't do that, so build a great life in the here and now.

Absolutely. The whole of Western civilization has turned into a dog-eat-dog rat race without any overarching purpose but to selfishly promote and advance one's own interests above others. Anyone with any conscience would be upset living in a society like this.

Re: Does anybody else feel physically ill thinking about Modern Society?

People pretend we are better than our ancestors when we are in fact in worse shape than in previous years and generations. There's no unified culture, people don't care about community and their nations but rather money, fame and status, people fight over stupid concepts like racial superiority and pronouns, very few people can think for themselves and many live in the now rather than tomorrow. Also Reality is being replaced with nonsensical fantastical concepts like all humans are equal and Women are stronger than Men.

If anything I believe that ideocracy will come sooner than 2505 and by then the world will become an dystopian hell that'll make some of the worst human events in history look tame in comparison. It doesn't look like there's a good ending to all of this like the movies almost always portray.

I like it personally. I'm attracted to misery and strife, specifically when people fuck their lives up being retarded.

I donīt want to be bitter but I see a lot of people complainning and almost no one fighting back.

I am not tellying you to put your real face, real name and fight but there is almost zero comments pro-mgtow in youtube. If you donīt talk, then you donīt exist.

    Good choice, I'd say.

I'm just old enough where I had a few aware childhood years under my belt before the Beatles showed up in 1964 which, IMO, started the change.

I can recall life before the Beatles and it was... nice.

Although, I was not born soon enough in the 50s to have been there to evaluate the ruckus that Elvis caused, whenever he exactly caused it.

So, I guess I'm idealizing a sweet spot in time, post-Elvis and pre-Beatles, where life was easy-listening, like the music on my Dad's radio.

I'd go back to that, giving up cellphones, color TV, internet, the movie ratings system, automated teller machines, and whatever else. Except medical advances. LOL

Re: Does anybody else feel physically ill thinking about Modern Society?

I went through that phase 10-15 years ago. I was worried about all sorts of shit that in the end just didn't matter, especially to someone like myself who does not and will not ever have kids. I was worried about some crazy shit to be honest. Then almost by magic, I just stopped caring, it didn't happen all at once but it just kind of wore off. Perhaps it is a part of the human journey to go through that at some stage.

At least I didn't take to the streets with a placard.

Anyway, in short, don't stress about stressing and your concerns will pass. I am 48 now and I really don't give a fuck and it is very liberating.

By the way society is always on the verge of destruction and ruin. I grew up in the late 70's and 80's. I was just a kid when the Ozone layer became a thing, by rights we should all be burned to a crisp by now if any of what they were saying was true. AIDS came out around the same time. Again, we were just kids but the way they made it sound it was like it was going to kill all of us and the human race would become extinct because sex would kill lol.

Oh and the USA and USSR were involved in a Cold War and we really did believe it was possible they would launch the nukes.

Hilarious I know but we were just 9 or 10 at the time of all of this!

They love making people scared. CoVid being the latest and I don't take the disease lightly but again, if it was as contagious as they make it out to be, I and many of my work team should have had it by now. We actually have been exposed to it through muppets who walked into our workspace who had it.

I for sure get a feeling of dismay on a regular basis, looking around at all the crazy shit going on. But there's peace and humor in realizing it's always been an insane asylum. If you're say early 20's now and looking back on 2007, that would make you around 10 then? You might've just become much more aware in the following years. Every era has it's insanities. Early one's for me included Vietnam, Nixon's resignation, the oil crisis, the early rise of "women's lib", Kent State, 18% inflation, extreme competition for good jobs, and the list could go on, and on..

So if you're seeing the lunacy in your 20's that's a sign you're going to need to go your own way, which means quite possibly a fair deal of hardship before getting to a more or less consistent higher state of contentment. It's certainly far better than the common path, which is a drawn out downhill slide from around 20ish to the grave.. The answers lie within. Figure that out early and the outside stuff isn't such an issue.

Yes, but it's getting better. I basically got "Woke" back in '96 at college... So I can tell you that what you are seeing isn't really new. It's just drastically more visible, and therefore widespread. But this is a fad, like any other. I know that's hard to believe, but.. Okay, so back from roughly '77 to '91, hard-rocking hair bands were ALL of the music. ALL of it. There were literally Simp-anthems playing on the radio 24/7. And then in 92', seemingly overnight, it stopped. Grunge and Alternative music replaced it, and they sure weren't singing sappy love songs. And everyone breathed a sigh of relief. Then you had 8 years of Clinton, and everything seemed like a Liberals wet-dream... Then 9/11 happened, and the entire country snapped hardcore republican overnight, and stayed that way for 8 years under George W Bush. Then 8 years of Woke Obama...

What I'm saying is, that these things run in cycles, and will continue to. What's different now, is that with social media (Twitter and Tiktok in particular) and tabloid news, the full lunacy of the Woke is on display like never before. And the Woke have control of all the institutions and are "Heavy Fist" forcing their ways on everybody. But with all the might of these echo-chambers and Cancel Culture, they are absolutely ignoring the amount of enemies that they are making, often of their old friends. They are eroding their own supporter-base faster than they can replace it, and this trend is accelerating with every single day. Here in about 5-10 years, things are going to swing back in the other direction, and then they are going to have walk-back a jaw-dropping amount of hatred and hubris. They are going to have to "fight" like never before, and with a drastically reduced power-base.

So yes, the nausea does come... but there is much to be hopeful for.

Human beings aren't doing anything they weren't supposed to be doing. Everybody would extol their era as favorable compared to the present. It's all appeal to nostalgia. We're all just stuck in time, rolling with the changing chaos in the void.

Civilization is slowly reaching termination which further highlights the ongoing human strife.

Nothing happening is really new...if only you are able to zoom out. One constant is human nature which subdivides into male and female nature. Men and women are who they have always been...it's just that civilization finally unveils the huge lie, especially that of the female.

This is the antidote basically. Just focus on improving your own life and leave the madness in the background. For the most part living your own life has not yet been made illegal.

Some suggestions for starters: completely unplug from the MSM garbage and find a job which isn't too infested with woke bullshit.

Agree. Things will definitelly NOT get better. Then, we have 2 options: fight careful with fake accounts or accept and prepare. It look like most people here are not doing neither.

What is different now is that agenda 2030 is NOT Conspiracy Theory anymore, not at all. Agenda 2030 is a serious danger to all humans.

The only think to be hopeful is that we all die before majority of world live in pods and eat insects.

I understand your point, but it would be more valid if this wokeness wasn't seeping into just about everything that runs everyday life. In 1996 or 2007 you had those fringe elements but now it's everywhere. Everywhere. It's not just virtual. It's a steady stream that is effecting politics, discourse, and its spilling out into the real world. This was most certainly not the case in 1996 or even 2007 which I remember the later quite well. I can see it manifesting in real life now and the evidence is undeniable. "Gender neutral" washrooms and more promoting of "pride" are just a few examples. It's bad dude lol.
