Desperate Short Men Seek To Attract Women: Workers from Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Meta are paying $75,000 to be taller, a surgeon told GQ.

" . . . The Las Vegas surgeon can lengthen patients' legs via a painful months-long process. He breaks the thigh bones and inserts nails that are extended every day for three months. A Las Vegas cosmetic surgeon who specializes in leg-lengthening procedures that can extend people's height by 3 to 6 inches told GQ magazine that many of his patients are tech workers.. . . It can take months to slowly lengthen the bones and for the legs to heal. One software engineer told GQ he spent the first three months after his surgery alone in his apartment and ordered delivery food during that time to go from 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-9.
The procedure costs between $70,000 and $150,000, depending on whether the patient wants to grow 3, 4, 5, or 6 inches, GQ said . . . "

If it’s women they are after, thinking being taller is the key they would be much more successful by extending other bodily extremities 3-6 inches into porn star range

Just take Viagra. It makes dicks taller.

Do they not understand that women want 6 foot tall men? Why are they even going through this dangerous surgery just to still be considered invisible to women. Not only that but don't even understand that it's a blessing to be invisible to women....ah well

I've heard about a process similar to this for people born with one leg shorter than the other.

At the current rate, "lying" like this to women will be considered some shade of rape. I feel bad for short men, it's easier to fix ugly and socially inept than to fix short and one of those two.

Going mgtow before any experience or success with women seems more sour grapes than anything. Once you've had women adore you and throw themselves at you choosing to be my how carries much more weight.

I would never want to do this, but I understand why men do it. There's no amount of exercise or eating right that will make you grow taller once you're done growing.

I see this surgery as a desperation move, and as radical. Some dudes would rather suffer any hardship for the chance of attracting more women. They're so simp-brainwashed, that the idea of saying, "To hell with these women, I'll go it alone" is not even an option.

To have your hip bones busted and then lengthened with a rod -- that shit's gotta hurt.

I'm chuckling at this. I can appreciate your sly humor here.

Although, I'm not trying to move the conversation to this topic.

That a fallacy, you don't need to personally deal with women to learn that they are not worth it in this day and age. All that matters understanding female nature and walking away from the foolishness

Don't give women anymore undue power then they already have. women do not decide who is a mgtow, men do

Women lie/misrepresent every facet of themselves, perfectly fine. If men do it, worst thing ever.

Look, it is not uncommon for a woman to make false allegations/stories to cover up for sleeping with someone who she found out was a loser afterwards. Whether to save face or for revenge, it happens quite a bit.

You don't think being a manlet would face the same backlash? It's one of the top things women are attracted to/look for. Women have no issue being downright evil if you threaten her "precious eggs" with subpar genetics, even if it's only going through the motions.

Playing a gambit against hypergamy is always a losing move, because hypergamy always finds the next subjective "best thing".

You paid $100,000 for cosmetic surgery? Well there's a better, more naturally attractive person that just paid $1,000,000.

It's a losing game for everyone.

One of my friends was very short - like, 1.5% of the population short.
But he was exercising like hell, had a body of an athlete, and was as smart as they come.

He told me at some point that he was grateful for his height - because it filtered out women that were not worth pursuing.

He ended up with a decent girlfriend, who clearly was smart enough to see him for what he made with his life - not what he was born with.
Given the state of women these days, she is definitely a unicorn.
Or at least I hope she is - since my friend's happiness depends on her behavior.

My point: the idiots in the article deserve the kind of women they will get "now that they are tall".
    I pity them.

This is one of the most disturbing things that has been brought to my attention in some time. I had necessary surgery recently. It was not bad in the aftermath but once was enough. I cannot even imagine having bones broken intentionally and then surgery after surgery. My mind reels at the thought. Then to go through this for the vanity of it all, I find few words to describe my horror.

Somehow I think the utopia these men are seeking is still well beyond their reach.

Damn, man, that's got to be a painful surgery. Braces on my teeth were bad enough, lol. I wouldn't want the agony of having my limbs stretched for months. Wasn't that a form of medieval torture?

Imagine breaking your legs, paying all that money and still getting put through the ringer by women…leaving heartbroken and even more broke. The men having this surgery probably have a much higher than normal rate of suicide.

I like the attitude of taking what this modern messed up society says is desirable and saying F-it. That attitude sorta underpins going your own way.

Trees spend their whole life trying to get a little taller, just to grab more sun than their neighbors. Least they got a reason.

I guess after the surgery he can get some high heels and be taller still.
Every day I make the world a little bit worse.
