Interesting article on Gov. DeSantis. He could end up a presidential candidate.
Divorced men who suffer the hardship of lifetime alimony might like to know.

It might not stop me from voting for him. In spite of his action here. Rather him than a Democrat in office again.

As expected, the "women most effected" crowd shows up. You just need to read a few paragraphs in.

I guess there is no effect on a man to make payments for life. Working or retired. Does not matter. Just man up and pay up. Forever. A life sentence with no parole.

I think we all saw that Canada (most feminist country you can imagine) employed
most aggresive tactics in attempt to force ppl into lockdowns and vaccination.

Believe me, in the future women will try to change the laws one way or another upon realization
that men collectively don't want to deal with them. They will try to chameleon out of the problem before pushing for changes, but this
strategy won't work. Men already are learning how to spot them. They will be forced to either double down or back down.

You already see grifters like Roma Army or Lauren Southern. You see clips of women going on dating mixers and no men show up.
You see stuff like Philladelphia train, or NY metro.
You already see "haha woman", "relationship with father" and "chad YES" memes in the mainstream.
Men by millions learn that feminists don't act in good faith and they no longer waste their time on futile debates.
That's why you see those memes. The time for negotiations has ran out.

Yeah, that's the lawyer in DeSantis coming out. Maybe they will tweak the bill and resubmit it.

A step in the right direction would be linking it to duration of the marriage.

One year of alimony for each year of marriage. Two at the max.

Lesson to be learned: If you positively, absolutely feel you must marry, only marry a woman that earns more than you, and who is so committed to her career she will not stop working or who would not want to quit working because she could not bear to live on just your salary alone.

Marriage leads to divorce most of the time, so the only way to come out ahead in a divorce is to get alimony.

The more I see from this guy, the more bummed I am I left FL. I have never had to pay alimony and never will have to, but I have had many wealthy clients over the years in my Black Car service that got raked over the coals with alimony. The ex-cunt shacks up with a new guy, lives off his money while collecting alimony from the ex-hubby. She will never marry again, why stop the gravy train? Who gives a flying shit if you stayed at home for 18 years, 12 of which the kids were at school all day. She could've gotten educated, started a small home business, or done anything other than watch TV, eat and shop all day. Life sucks, time to be a 'strong, independent woman' and go out there and conquer the world.
