Re: Men now avoid women at work another sign we're being punished for #MeToo

I suggest being polite but distant instead. They will notice you actively avoiding them.

Why not be kind to the extent of satisfying your own humanity? Why not be polite to distinguish your high moral setting? They are useful idiots after all, you just gotta know how to use them! Know their OS and you'll never see strife or abuse. What you're doing stands a good chance of garnishing negative attention with unforeseen ramifications that strike when least expected and more so when least desired or needed. A little grease of kindness goes a long long way. It's best to catch bees with honey rather than a fly swatter...

Wow, they all say because of #metoo and not once do they think that most men don't want to be ruined because they were alone with a woman..
Once again women bite off too much and end up with shit in their mouths.
Now class, can we all say "Toxic Bitch" in one loud voice. .

The challenge is the concept of networking with your peers has been shattered because of pound me too. At this point it is really everyone is on their own and it has become even more of a ruthless environment.

I feel sorry for younger generations of men looking to build a career and will have to navigate around this crap.

Re: Men now avoid women at work another sign we're being punished for #MeToo

I work in a usually male only workplace with only 2 women ever working on the factory floor. The first was in her 50s and dog ugly, the second started about a month ago in her 20s and above average looking.

As said above I do the polite but distant and only ever talk about work. I see others with their eyes on her and worry a bit.
