Husbanks won’t grow a pair because, deep down, it makes them feel “needed” to give everything to some woman who hates them.

Now the whole poly thing I don’t care much about. More “adults” in the house is good for children and decreases stress on everyone, in theory.

Seems like there is little research on this kind of thing, specifically how long these types of arrangements last. I'm sure the kids hate it because if their peers at school know about it, the taunting would be absolutely next level. Goes to show how selfish mom is right there. These stories are all about promoting an alternative lifestyle so they really gloss over the bad stuff (yeast infections, STDs, conflict, etc.) so you can't really take them seriously. If there are some cold, hard facts that show that these things actually work, more power to them but it just doesn't seem like they can last for very long. If they did, we'd see them all the time and obviously we don't or they wouldn't highlight "how great it is" in articles like these.

Glad I'm not crazy: When one sees pics of polyamorous things, there's usually a "Neckbeard" husband, a solid Whale as a wife, and either a somewhat Prince-looking/Bisexual Ministrel type looking dude or tomboy girl as the 3rd partner.
