Without the voices and stories, I would not have done my own reflection and truly thought that not marrying was a legit choice.

Understanding mgtow, and then reading Paul in the bible recommend not marrying puts more clarity into truth and how "truth" is presented by the church and the world. (which makes marrying a life goal)

Shoutout to OG. His posts always had deep wisdom and knowledge.

The way I see it, after years of red pill content, suddenly the red pill is bad or something? Being critical of the female nature is "infantile" ou criticising society a sign of "incel nature"?

Let me be the one to defend the poor "incel" kids, that had the bad luck of being born in families without male role models, with spirits crushed by a society that sees masculinity as toxic or defective .

They are but a reflection of such society and obviously are insecure about thenselves. Therefore women want nothing to do with them.

Thus they commit the ultimate sin: THEY CANNOT ATTRACT A FEMALE.

The HORROR!

This demonization of the victims is ridicule! Especially at a MGTOW site.

Women are not the measure of a man's value! This is red pill knowledge that would be precious for these kids. But if society prefers to see them as "domestic terrorists", so be it. It will reap what it sows.

Since apparently the red pill is being forgotten, here are some classics:

"MGTOW eat shamming language like tic-tacs." Basic injectives like "you are insecure", "you cant handle a woman", or "you are just bitter" are easily recognized and discarded for what they are: manipulation tactics.

"If you live near a minefield your conversation is about mines." This addresses the "issue" of talking about women in red pill forums. Plenty of saboteurs would show up in MGTOW forums and suggest that men should stop talking about women. Keymaster came up with with this sentence to point out that we live in a gynocentric society that has become hostile to masculinity. If we are not to discuss THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE THERE IS, then what are we to discuss? Feminists cannot suffer us to speak freely against the untouchable unicorns... But we are not under worshipping mentaly, we are intelectually free to speak the truth amongst ourselves.

And last here is a gem about the origin of the MGTOW expression: At the initial MRA scene some guys observed that women could rally arround a leader in a cohesive group while men tended to have splinter groups that would weaken the movement. It was said that it looked like each man was going his own way.

So the basis of MGTOW is male independency, and it consists on a few truths about society, and each one to go his own way.

There is no movement, just knowledge.

Thanks so much for this site. I first became acquainted with MGTOW in 2017 after a horrible experience. I went through red pill rage, went through a woman hating period, came through the other side, and now, as you say, just practice nuanced caution with women, while not having relationships and doing my own thing.

Red pill knowledge was like a revelation, and it's all internalised now, and I'm a different, more enlightened, confident man for having stumbled upon this and the other site that closed. For me personally it's served its purpose over the last 5 or 6 years, and for that I'm eternally grateful.

They said it gave them the confidence to leave a toxic relationship and stand up to all of the shaming others were throwing their way. Another post appeared to encourage a young man to avoid taking his own life. Who knows how many others have been saved through the knowledge and discussions on this site.

I think one of the things inherent to MGTOW is helping men not put all their value as a person in the validation they may or may not receive from a women. And that is a good thing any way you slice it. This is especially valuable with most women other than land whales or those with 4+ kids basically only going for sharing top 10% males.

I like the format of this site, and the relatively-small active community... so I'll miss the place, but I understand (and I appreciate the advance notice, instead of just having the site "go dark" one day).

I've registered at the Mengtow forum... looks like a number of us are over there now. Good.

I was so glad to have found this place after Nacho's old forum went down. Really sad to see it go, but I agree that the Incel movement has infiltrated every aspect having anything to do with realtionships online.

All over Reddit and YouTibe commets and that weightlifting forum I read sometimes; they are everywhere and are like a cancer.

That freeforums place and discord looks pretty good, though.

Just got back from 2 weeks away to read this.......sad news but all things come to an end eventually. Hopefully I get get onboard one of the alternatives that has been posted above.

Obviously there's a lot of articles on here that need saving for the benefit of other men, any ideas on the best way to archive them ?

I must admit that I am not happy that this place is shutting down but my opinion doesn't really matter anyway.

I disagree with some of Jagr's recent posts but he deserves credit for keeping this thing running as long as he did as well as giving everyone a heads up and plenty of notice so I will not knock him. Most forum admins do not give their members this luxury when deciding to shut down a forum.

Am I the only one where registrating on Mengtow forum doesn't work? I'm not getting past the agree with terms page.

No, you're not, frog had a problem too, but that's the only two reports of that since the site's inception. I have no answers.

I'm very sorry to hear that this place will be shutting down, it was always a valuable source of knowledge and respite for me.

But if I've learned anything from my 50-plus years on this planet, it's that nothing lasts forever. Everything has a lifetime.

Major props to the Jagr, and all the mods and posters and contributors over the years. (Although there was one mod that was kind of a &8^%$, but that was years ago).

Men's-only spaces are rare, and seemingly restricted to dark corners of the net. Hope I see many of you on the other site, which I will check out.

Also, and to repeat the above: everything has a lifetime, and that includes all of us as individuals. If you do have some big, small or medium-sized goal, get out there (or in there) and do it. Tempus fugit, and time waits for no man...carpe diem.
