A Quote from The Dark Knight.

    Hello gentlemen,

There's this quote from The Joker in the movie The Dark Knight that stuck in my head ever since I read it on a MGTOW forum.

    Here's the quote below:

"They need you right now, but when they don't, they'll cast you out, like a leper! You see, their morals, their code, it's a bad joke. Dropped at the first sign of trouble. They're only as good as the world allows them to be. I'll show you. When the chips are down, these... these civilized people, they'll eat each other. See, I'm not a monster. I'm just ahead of the curve."
~ The Joker, The Dark Knight (2008)

It made quite an impression on me because this simple quote from a movie can be applied to basically anybody we deal with today.

Women, employers, "friends", family or even Society as a whole.

The recent events in my life, both the divorce and my unemployed status last year, could fit like a glove in the statement above. In both these situations, I indeed felt like a cast out - actually, because of the divorce I still feel like and am treated like a cast out from my previous social circles! Like someone who's not worthy of compassion, empathy or even help.

Going through both the situations above also allowed me to see that people we often trust in, with both our word and our heart, can really drop/forget their so called "morals" or "social codes" if they wish to do so, and if they see it will benefit them in some way - with no remorse!

It's as if, by changing their set of morals according to how the wind blows, they can act like a chameleon who changes its skin color to its benefit of survival. But, to me, this resembles more the liking of a theatrical character; one that uses many "masks".

Although, by using so many masks, one can never really tell who this person is! They're just hollow mannequins who are filled up by what Society, MSM or other sources shove down their throats. To me, they seem like people without strong foundations, without deep roots in truth, honesty and empathy.

And, in the end of the quote, some great words: "I'm not a monster. I'm just ahead of the curve."

As much as it hurt me to be treated as and feel like a cast out, like a leper, like a monster, perhaps my adaptation to this new period in my life is what buggers them!

Perhaps they see me as a "monster" because I refuse to participate in their little theater of appearances, that I refuse to waive my set of morals, my own code of life, my admiration for truth, honesty and goodness in my earthly existence. Maybe by abiding to this set of morals, I act like a light that shows them just how hollow, empty and rotten they are inside.

Indeed, I believe that we that follow the MGTOW path are "ahead of the curve". We are fast learners. We are cunning observers of the changes that Society imposes on the average human being (both men and women). And by this, we choose not to participate in the dog-eat-dog, narcissistic, unrooted and artificial lifestyle of the average John and Jane Doe.

Feeling like an outcast, like a leper, has actually freed me from bowing down to societal expectations. It allowed me to go my own way; because the way I'm treated by these people showed me that they're not worthy of my time, my attention or my love.

It allowed me to go my own way. Ahead, way ahead of the curve!

    Cheers,
    GJ

It's all social conditioning for the benefit of women and the men who pimp them out, aka the state husbandry, aka the state sugar daddy, aka the state pimp. That's how these guys get elected - they kowtow to women for their votes, crucifying and throwing "lessor" men under the bus.

Trump took the child support deduction from the majority of payers, aka men, and gave it instead to the majority of payees, aka women. Why did he do it? To garner women's votes at the expense of "lessor" men's well being. Same reason we have a male only draft. Same reason men suffer in every category of life satisfaction. Same reason why men get far harsher punishments for identical crimes. If it were a female-only draft, we'd be called monsters and strung up for war crimes - but because it's only men's lives being disposed of, on behalf of women and their state pimps, we're shamed into silence and obedience by women and their state pimps. This is how the state represents women as their violence proxy. They imprison men who disobey.

Everything is about keeping men weak, ignorant, obedient, shamed, belittled, emasculated, castrated, powerless, easily exploitable and easily disposable.

That's why women and their state pimps ban/censor MGTOW. They don't want men waking up to such realities en masse. Why? Because it ruins their exploitative business model, which is solely based on women appropriating men's wealth/achievements and splitting it, through grants of power, with their state pimps/violence proxy.

Everything we've been taught is one gigantic lie. That's why feminists pull fire alarms and shout down MRAs whenever they speak on college campuses. They're desperate to hide the truth.

Until they completely destroy your life, ignorance and self-delusion are sheer bliss.

Remember that guy Jesus who told people to have morals, emphaty, and integrity? How did things ended up for Him two thousands years ago?

You can see who people are when things are not going their way (no pun intended). Don’t ignore the small cues. Those are cracks that become giant fissures when under greater stress. With enough stress, most people’s facade will crack. In some cases, very ugly things happen. Betrayal, sheer and unrepentant selfishness are not uncommon. You will see that many you thought were good will in fact “kick a dog when it is down”. I’ve seen quite a few people lose it, mostly in high stress situations in the backcountry. Anyone you need to trust with your life needs to be of the highest caliber. Test them well before situations arise where you might need to depend on them. Better yet, avoid those situations if possible.

I just said in some other thread that I don't go in for comicbook movies a whole lot. But this one is an exception.

And thing is, Joker is right. The cops WANTED to be good and honorable. But they dropped their moral code at the first sign of trouble. And trouble definitely came to the city. So, the cops temporarily accepted Batman as an ally. But the instant they got their heads above water, they would've turned against Batman. Because he's a criminal himself by any standard. But until they had the power back, they were content to use Batman for their own purposes.

Obviously, you can draw some pretty straight lines between that and the predatory woman who leeches Billy Beta Bux dry and then leaves him the minute it's convenient for her to do so.

Re: A Quote from The Dark Knight.

I learned that as a kid. My family would put shit on me non stop until they needed me for something than I was expected to jump to their rescue. They were quite shocked when they realized that they were playing a one sided game. As soon as I was old enough, I got a job and left. My mother actually said "As soon as he was useful to me, he left".

My fave quote from the film is "What doesn't kill us, only makes us stranger". Another truth bomb.

All adult relationships are conditional transactions. Most parent-child relationships are conditional transactions as well. The reason people had large families in the past was for 'home farm labor' and because half of children died.

He is right in saying that everyones morals are a bad joke. But he didn't have to show that to anyone. Bad morals can't be hidden. Rather than showing the world I chose to wait and watch everything fall apart. I don't have to do anything. The "civilised people" will eat each other whether I do something or not.

True and now that most people no longer have farms to run, lots of kids, or kids in general are more of a liability than an asset. Not to mention kids and marriage for men is just super stupid.
