    G'Day

    My intro.

Relationship History: I'm a slow learner.... Married twice and twice burnt.

1st Married young, all good for a few years then about the time my brother got the family farm where I had grown up there was a change in our relationship. I didn't see it at first but I felt something was a little off. My wife was changing and continued for a few more years until I knew I was all but gone from her life. I went looking and found one major affair and heaps of shorter ones and a few one night stands. She refused to work on the marriage, so that meant automatic legal separation for me. She couldn't understand why... A few years later she ends up married to a man with a farm. She wanted to be a farm wife, once my brother got the family farm she started to loose attraction for me.
2nd Started on the internet and over a few years communicating and visiting, I end up packing up and immigrating to the other side of the planet. No regrets. It took this one a little longer but same crap, more affairs. This time I was hardened up from the first time around and care factor was getting low.

Awareness: I knew I didn't have a clue and when I finally visited my family (brothers etc) and the people I grew up with (it had been 20yrs since I had seen them) and looking at their failed marriages and relationships I had to find out what I was missing. Once the 3 month long visit was gone I returned home on a quest for knowledge. It didn't take long for the anger to set in about my whole childhood and most of my life into my 30's being a lie about how people are and how they should act. I was injected the whole Disney dream on how girls are special and to treat them nicely. When someone mistreats you "Turn the other check", just forgive her, everyone makes mistakes.... We have all heard this crap... I ended up seeing the word Hypergamy somewhere, that in turn lead to Briffault's Law, then to The Rational Male, Return of Kings, Better Bachelor and a dozen other YouTube channels. The information has been over welling. I am still learning heaps and likely will as more and more people are posting better and better videos and articles.

Who Are You: I live in Western Australia, work in underground mining. I'm fitter (mechanic) and as the ground water at work is up to 6x saltier than sea water everything gets rusty. The reason for my nickname RustyNuts.
I find human behavior or more, female nature very interesting. I didn't say I liked it, only like learning about it. Humans are very complex but evolution has had eons to hard wire and program us to desire certain things and traits. Society had kept it all in balance for the most part until 1/2 way into the last century. Since then it has been unwinding and will continue for a long time yet. We are not at the bottom.

Do I want a relationship? No way!!! I have lost way to much already and I should have ended the 2nd marriage years earlier. I know I can't keep working at my job many more years, my body just doesn't curl up and fit in some of those spots anymore. I can not afford to keep a compulsive shopper in unlimited funds again and they just don't have that SMV anymore at my age. The little female interaction I do have can be very dangerous. (Read my post in the non-member, Past Rejections thread that I did yesterday about the girl at work) I'm down to: If I get desperate enough that I want to feel that human interaction again I will get a professional.

I have been a lurker here for about a year, I wasn't sure if I needed to join. Then after yesterdays post I realize it's not about me, it's about where I was when I started this journey and where I am now and the men now awakening. It's about helping others.

I can't help but wonder what you're mining that would leach out so much salt and why? Sounds like a claustrophobic nightmare to me being at some 800ft level in a crawlspace fitting pipe! I couldn't do it! No way! I get the eb'geebee's on an elevator or worse a crawl space! I'm only really comfortable on a mtn, peak with sky and valleys all around me! When I built my house (rebuilt my house) I even vaulted my ceilings to give me relief from claustrophobia! I would have installed skylights but in this region they're problematic with condensation and dripping, not mention prone to leaking from snow/water backup.
Under a mountain is not a place for me! I like them topside!

Marriage, dating, divorce, and breakups, are on the rocky road of female empowerment, a road that goes nowhere else but misery and hardship.

What if I told you there's another road, a road less traveled, a road straight and narrow, free of bandits, checkpoints, taxes, and tolls?

LOL, not everyone has a tail... Years ago when I said I wanted to try working (under ground) U/G, a mate shook his head and said "The only things that live U/G have tails" I guess I still have mine... Somewhere...

I work in a gold mine. I have worked in Nickel mines also here, both are found close and sometimes in the same mine.

Salt: From what I understand most of Western Australia was under the sea or ocean at some point, that is why there is salt water for ground water, all the surface lakes are salt lakes, if it hasn't rained for 6 or 8 months (common) you can drive on them. Gold nuggets can be found with a metal detector here, one theory has it as the continual plates shifted and the land came out of the ocean the hot water springs carried salt water to the surface and the nuggets formed. Only salt water carries dissolved gold. Yes I have metal detectors, yes I have found gold nuggets.
800ft level: Some mines still work in feet, none that I have worked in. (I'm loosing touch with imperial measurements) The mine that I work in now is about 900m vertical, this not the deepest mine that I have worked at, or the deepest in the area.
Under a mountain: I know what you mean... The area is relatively flat here. The only way to see anywhere is get on top of a mine waste dump. You can see for 20kms or more. Most other places in the world I have been climb a hill and you see another hill...

Videos: Not mine... But it gives you an idea what/where I live. I hope copy and paste works here...

Where I work: Not my video, this was taken a few years before a started, I know a lot of the blokes in it. All of them are good, not many left now, most have moved on.

    Underground Mine Kalgoorlie - YouTube

The salt is not shown very well on the decline walls. 1:12 shows it on a light, 1:44 shows a little on the wall ahead. RL I can see it better.
3:00 on, is of the super pit in town.... Just pit fairies there. Not where I work.

Newer video: Not mine again:... I don't have any videos....

Destination WA - Evolution Mining - YouTube

2:11 that is complete crap!!! Like hell she would use that crapper... Honestly you would crap your daks before you used that!!! It would gag a maggot even if it was freshly cleaned... Also at this same time look behind her, there are 2 electrical cables, the orange ones. 1000v in them. Everything except the crib (lunch) room runs on 1000v, the long hole drill 2:37 is powered with a 1000v motor to run the hydraulics. It has a diesel engine to move but will not drill with it.

I am not in any of these videos... Don't even try to guess me.

My spelling is shit, and with Aussie slang (I try to translate) it just gets worse. Ask me or use Google if you don't understand English... (I had to say that....)

Much of Australia is old seabed. We have a huge problem with salinity caused by flood irrigation. The salt was just sitting there bothering no-one until Big Ag decided to steal a fuckton of water from the rivers and spray it. Once the dirt is wet down to the salt layer, it's all over. Cotton farming is a big culprit.

My apologies for not welcoming you earlier - it was an oversight, not intentional - my fault.

Really? What did you do with them? Is there legislation? Can I go get some for myself? - Just tell me where and how and I'm in.

Gold Nuggets: Yes, real natural gold nuggets. You need a "Miner's Right" fill out a form at the local mines dept. and pay AUD$25? It's less than $30, this lasts a life time... Find open or pending area where you want to detect. (Open is not pegged, Pending is pegged lease but not granted, Granted lease is no go without written permission from lease holder) and good luck.

Sold the gold. Perth Mint is the big buyer, local shops buy also to make jewelry or on sell to Perth Mint. This is the answer I always have to give, nuggets are classed as bullion and I can not insure against theft. If the local drug users ever thought I might have gold I would be broken into.... A few years ago the local drug dealers were buying up nuggets to launder money, pretend they found it and sell to the mint, mint pays them, money is now clean.

It all sounds great but it can be really depressing if you are not picking up anything. I have gone 9 months or more and not found one fly shit size going out 3 days a week..... I was averaging one flat tires a week (I repair my own). Then hit the right area and find a patch.... What's a patch? 3 nuggets or more, total weight could be a few grams to +100 oz for the patch. The mineset has to be to go out to enjoy the bush, to explore, get exercise, and stress release.... But if you find gold that's a nice bonus!!!
