Popp, you do excellent work and your editor has a great sense of comedic timing. Especially the 'I'm pooping it' gag, you could upload that all by itself and it would mutate into a meme.

Anyway, are you sure you want the media to see your videos? And to what end? I know you don't care what people think, I'm very much the same way, but that just seems like a smear job waiting to happen. Remember, these are the same people who made TMZ popular and who promote things like Twilight, whatever the teen pop singer of the week is at the moment, etc. I agree your message needs to be heard, but those clowns won't do it justice.
it needs to get out there and yes they will try to smeer me but in the end its comedy

Hey, is this Q&A live still?

I've never been married, so most of my info is second hand. I have been posting elsewhere about "The Plan", and it would be kinda cool to have your take on it. The big point, which I think is important, is systematic sleep deprivation. It's torture - literally. Banned by the Geneva Conventions. Your thoughts/experiences?

First, they arrange matters so that you cannot leave the house except to go to work. This means cutting you off from your friends, family, any outside activities where she is not there to watch you. Mate of mine was forbidden to play in a band - a big part of his life. Whole chinks of your personality are excised.

Also first - you are allowed no money of your own. This means that you can't go anywhere or do anything. There's no escape.

Then there's the continuous sting of bullshit little jobs that consume your time and that she checks up on: "honey, did you do X?" This establishes a dynamic where you are a worker and she is your supervisor.

Finally, it's a continual attack on your sleep. Rule 1 is that you are never allowed to be asleep when she is awake. She will also, for instance, shake you awake when you are in deep sleep. Sometimes because she "heard a noise", sometimes just to scream at you for some imagined wrong. Another one is demanding to know what you were dreaming about - people very quickly go mad if they are not permitted to dream.

She may or may not cap it off with actual violence.

The end result is a passive worker drone, zombied from lack of sleep, utterly broken and cowed, who brings in money, does not want sex, and who leaves her with hours of time and plenty of money to pursue and fuck bad boys or just hang with her buddies and gossip.

Plenty of guys here and on the other forums have been run though The Plan. The stories are uniformly harrowing.

Bachelor taxes are being done already, but in a backwards fashion. Tax everyone (which is "fair"), but give refunds only to women and families. Here in Oz, there is a compulsory superannuation requirement - the equivalent of US "Social Security", but more privatised. What they are doing is steadily raising the age at which you become eligible to claim your retirement savings back. Who lives longer? Women do, of course. As do people of higher economic class. A blue-collar man will never see the 9 or 12% of his income that was socked away into compulsory super.

Thank you Terrence for taking the time out to answer our questions. Your life is an interesting tale and I am sorry for the loss of your dog.

Mr Wombat touched on retirement and bachelor taxes in his question, but I want to clarify his information to avoid a bit of confusion.

Superannuation is the equivalent to the 401k system you guys have in the U.S. only that in Australia, the employer is obliged to make compulsory contributions of 9.25% of gross salary (to rise to 12% by 2016-7), in addition to salary. Where social security (SS) is Dept. of Human Services over here (commonly referred to by its old name Centrelink).

Some information regarding Family Tax benefit payments Family Tax Benefit PART A and PART B - CareforKids.com.au . Note the median wage for workers in Australia is $48,000 per annum. The mean is closer to $65,000.

My question to you is, "In the current climate where Governments are trying to reduce their exposure to pension liabilities and thereby reducing the rate of yearly increase to the pension, Do you see the viability in expatting overseas to a less developed country like Thailand where even a miserly pension in the West would guarantee a middle class lifestyle?"

I ask because an increasing amount of Australians are moving to Thailand, Bali and (in the case of retiring postwar migrants) back to their homeland to take advantage of cheaper living and less bureaucratic health care systems. In Thailand you could get a full body check up for the equivalent of AUD$1, where the same treatment in Australia would cost hundreds in the private system or free under the public system but with a two year wait.
