Reading through 4 pages of responses on this thread was a joy. Thank you, Chef.
Now, everyone likes to mention all the problems associated with dating a single mother, which is fine. Did you not know what you were getting into when you signed up for it??
I'm 32, so maybe I'm ignorant. Pardon my ignorance, please. But I find the mere THOUGHT of a woman who has had kids from a prior relationship as abhorrent and disgusting. Giving birth BREAKS the pussy, the body is literally not the same afterwards. Offering the womb to a man is one of the highest honours a woman can bestow upon him. And if she never offered me that honour first, then it's really more of an indignity to my self worth as a man.
I always go back the vehicle analogy,
but it's so accurate and effective! If you were in the market for purchasing a vehicle and you managed to find one that LOOKED great, and for what seemed like a fair price point, but then you found out it's a write off from having been in one or more accidents, would you still prioritize purchasing it knowing the drivetrain is shot? It's the same thing with a woman, the effect of childrearing on the body is tantamount to the vehicular damage sustained in an collision. Her reproductive drivetrain has been extensively damaged. I'm not gonna trust it to reliably get me from point A to point B.
Furthermore, this information is becoming more widely known and accepted among men given the popularity of platforms like F&F, The Rational Male, etc. I would expect the REEfeminists to push back against this in a rather hard and arduous way. Expect much turbulence and shaming language in the days to come.
