    Five Gym Creeps: A Response

    https://youtu.be/lG-tVvsN9S8

Yep, it's always the guy's fault. Gyms are loaded with hypocrisy and in some respects can be some of the most hazardous places that you can go as a man. Of course, it also doesn't help that the woman who starred in this video pretty much projects this out but naturally never mentions that women can and do engage in this behavior too.

Once you have your own equipment and place to train, it's really hard to ever go back to a globo gym. I just don't like all the time wasted changing and walking around to "work-in" on equipment. You really don't need a whole lot of equipment to make your little gym sanctuary.

Sometimes when I'm at the gym, and I'm naked in the steam room, there's a middle-age, fat, hairy guy jerking off and asks me if I want any action. I just ignore them.

The only advantage the gym has to my basement gym is the cable weights, which I don't have and too expensive to afford.

I do wear flip-flops. It's all I wear in the steam room or sauna. My gym doesn't hand out towels anymore, because they're too cheap and lazy to wash them. Overall, it's a good gym, with caring customer service, has a health bar and supplement store. All it's missing is the Wheel Of Pain from Conan The Barbarian. Imagine pushing it around; you'd get a full-body workout.

Speaking of gyms and workout equipment, whenever I get my own place and raise enough money, I like to buy this big gym cable machine: https://www.fitnesssuperstore.com/Fr.../ffs-5smjg.htm

When I was 12 or 13, we wheeled a large wooden cable spool from the next town over, about a 3 mile trek, within the first mile we learned it's best if one peddled like a hamster on top while the other nudge steered it down the road, by the 2nd mile we learned to grab the rim getting a lift on top taking turns at being the hamster powering it! It was cool looking down on traffic! This was long before Conan the barbarian, but I wouldn't doubt by some butterfly effect we spawned it that day! We wanted it for the schoolyard we hung around during summer and nothing was going to stop us!

Don't get me wrong here, but I guess I never understood why a steam room is a necessary part of the working-out regimen. Your average home doesn't have one. Sounds mighty elective for what ya get. Like a bidet. Like running with the bulls at Pamplona. It's a thing to do. Because it's there.

And then, getting naked with other guys, and some who hit on you. Do you just sit around and make talk with strangers while naked? What makes you decide you're done steaming? When you get bored with being there? When the conversation stalls? Doesn't the steam room experience last longer than just taking a shower? I'd take the shower, myself, and move on.

Obviously, I'm missing the benefits here.

The steam room/sauna is for you to sweat out the toxins in your body. Plus, if you sweat a lot, which I do, you can lose a pound or two. And no, when I'm naked in the steam room, I just sit around, stare at the glass door and think to myself for a while. Trust me, I'm no puffer. I just happen to like it, but I can't stay in too long, or else I'll feel like getting sick and dizzy.

I heard the term in Full Metal Jacket. When the drill Sargent asks "Are you a peter puffer" it means "do you suck dicks." Like I said, I'm not into that. I just like sitting in a 120 degree hot room thinking to myself.

I'd have a hard time with that, sitting across from some dude stroking his meat and wanting to puff my peter!

I bet you'd do good in combat!

Oh, sure. My biggest autistic weakness is fear of change and new people.

    Cant be overstated !!

Even a little bit of combat training goes a long way !!! I had few months of martial arts training during teenage years, and that brought a big improvement in both physical and mental state.

Now if only I figure out some way to get training in using automatics... maybe one day...

I'm telling you gentlemen. If you can, get your own home-gym so you don't have to deal with the nonsense. Once you have your own little sanctuary, you won't want to go back to commercial.
