Women who make more divorce more.

This is obvious however there's a study now that proves women are all about money. Women who are the bread winners making at least 60% of the household income divorces more than a woman who earns less. It didn't matter if the couple was rich or poor.

Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless- like water.
Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup,
you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle,
you put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot.
Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

I've heard of this. I think there might be an exception for men who, though they earn less, have a significantly higher-status position.

However, if your wife has more status and more money coming in than you do, odds are you won't be giving her the kind of tingles that keeps her loyal (or, if loyalty is not in the cards, at least coming back to you).

It may be a new study, but it's very old news. Related: in lesbian relationships, it is usually the partner who earns more who initiates the break-up.

It was already said a million times over - Women are a flight risk, are incapable of adhering to commitments etc.

There really doesn't need to be a logically valid reason for divorce. They will run for the exit whenever it suites them or maybe even out of random boredom one day.

They initiate divorce if they make more than their spouse. The initiate divorce if their husband makes more because she can go after his money.

They initiate divorce if they have to ask you to take out the trash one time too many, if they don't like your extended family, your socks, etc.

It is insanity passed off as acceptable behavior. You can't stop this train so do not get on.

That stat would be higher if they counted the extent of the man's parents wealth as part comparing man/woman's income in the relationship

I have heard something similar regarding education levels - if your wife is more educated than you, she is more likely to initiate a divorce.

There is one sure way to avoid a ruinous divorce - don't get married, or even shack-up, in the first place.

Further related news: Lesbian relationships have twice the amount of DV as heterosexual relationships. The relationships with the least DV are homosexual male relationships. It seems more testosterone leads to less violence not more.

I know a few women who earn more than their men, yet remain faithful. It's said we want as adults what we missed when we were kids. For me, it was freedom. For these two, it was a stable home life with no crazy people. They both earned useful degree's, got real job's, and took those job's seriously.

On the home front, both married guys, who if treated fairly, are easy to get along with. The reason they don't act like their sisters do is because cheating, trading up, and putting your man down for making less does not make for a stable home. One snivels a little in private that she's hauling most of the weight. Thing is, I wouldn't hear that much if we weren't friends, and she really is paying for most everything.

Is there's some epic love story? Probably not, but they treat their men better than the average female.

Re: Women who make more divorce more.

It's always been said by (bitter) women that men are only as faithful as their options. Options, being sexual partners.

I would then, by logical extension, say that women are only as faithful as THEIR options. Options being financial in nature.

It's good... when the truth stings.
It's even better when it's stinging someone else though, isn't it?

When I was getting divorced, way back when, my ex-wife said that she was "going easy on me", as her lawyer suggested she also go for the inheritance I stood to receive, once my grandparents passed.

The shear audacity of this premise still has me shaking my head, even now.

All of my grandparents were alive at the time - very elderly, but quite well off. Yet her cunt lawyer suggested basing the settlement on not only our collective asset pool, but an estimated amount that I stood to receive, some time within the next decade.

It's always about the money. It always has been. It always will be.

Is this even possible? and legal? How can they take that into account, there is no way you can guarantee this money and it could be years as you mentioned, prior to obtaining it. This reminds me of the article about the guy who struck it rich with his company (solar or wind farm tech) and his ex is trying to get $$ out of him way after the fact.

    there's more to this....
seems men don't like it when his significant other makes more than him..... she ceases to be a "companion" and becomes a "competitor"....
(then again.. men are [arguably] more or less "hardwired" to provide... since we've been "pushed" into the role for over half a million years.. so, go figure...)
