    Botched

I'm kind of fascinated by that show Botched on E. There are occasionally stories of people that have had horrible things happen to them that get fixed. Just as often, the stories are of some completely vain person who has already had too much cosmetic surgery get something fixed after a hack surgeon screwed them up. Most of the people are women, followed by trans women and gay men. Every once in a while there is a straight male in for some work.

In any event, it's interesting seeing case study after case study that show how inextricably linked a woman's psychology is to her physical appearance. I think it is safe to say, that a horrible defect could injure anyone's self esteem a bit. With many of the women though, it's like their physical appearance and their self esteem are exactly the same thing. Men with a defect seem to treat the defect like a separate thing that is attached to them that they have to deal with. It's sort of the same thing, but it is an order of magnitude greater with women.

It's also amazing how many women have some sort of dysmorphic disorder, where they have clearly had too much work done already. Often they are turned away.

I'm glad surgeons like this exist to help people who have truly suffered from a catastrophic accident of some sort. I also don't have a problem with the vain and narcissistic people who are there pursuing some sort of ephemeral perfection. Their vanity helps keep surgeons like this in good shape from a skill standpoint.

I'm also profoundly grateful that my entire psychology isn't bound that tightly to my appearance. It's good to stay in shape, but damn some of these people are insane.

I am unfamiliar with the show but I get the general gist. I tend to stay away from such shows, but every now and then I do indulge myself just to be able to sit there for half an hour or so repeating over and over to myself WTF?

Anyhow, you do raise some interesting points.

In any event, it's interesting seeing case study after case study that show how inextricably linked a woman's psychology is to her physical appearance.

Of course it is. The women that undergo these procedures believe (or maybe realise?) that the only thing they have to offer a bloke is sex. They’re desperate. They are proudly declaring to the world: I want a man, and these are the lengths I’m prepared to go to in order to prove it. It’s like they’re saying: If I’ll do this to my own body, what’ll I let you do to it? While all the time they’ll be thinking: when the deed is done (whatever that may be), the law will be on my side – don’t take these women for the fools that they appear to be.

A colleague once confided in me that his fiancée was going to get a boob job. He was clearly excited and wanted to boast. He lost a bit of his enthusiasm however when instead of joining in his excitement I calmly replied something along the lines of, “Really? Well I’d have thought that if you wanted to shag plastic there are cheaper alternatives.” For some reason he didn’t confide in me much after that. Ah well.

it's like their physical appearance and their self esteem are exactly the same thing.
    Again I agree.

Their self-esteem is based on their ability to attract and control us males. Whether they’re looking for an Alpha to feck them senseless or a Beta provider it doesn’t matter. To these vacuous women it’s all the same: I have few options, if this is what I have to do to get my way, then this is what I’ll do! Enter the judicial system… again.

I'm glad surgeons like this exist to help people who have truly suffered from a catastrophic accident of some sort.
Again I couldn’t agree more. If these vain creatures want to offer themselves up, I for one have no problem. It can’t help but improve the quality of plastic surgery practices for those that actually have a need for it.

I entombed TV! It's at the bottom of things to do and at the top of things not to do! You can't get any retrospection or introspection on it until it's years behind you, like watching a truck fade away in your rear view mirror, at first it blocks the entire background then it fades to just a blot on a beautiful scenery, mentally it's challenging like Jackoff said, it's like giving yourself poison (as much as you can take) and building up your mental immunity whilst not realizing your sick. The MSM is a triathlon in mental gymnastics where they have your mind hopping and bopping to their tune keeping you distracted from the canvas of your life and freedom of mental movement.

I can't count the times I've driven past neighbors and the likes with the blue flicker of television lighting up the windows, and thinking to myself how unnatural and unhealthy that is, some even sit there smoking cigarettes until they're dead. My home is for sleeping, eating, organizing, maintaining, and home plate at the end of the day, my flat screen in the living room hasn't been on the airwaves or cables since 2005 and likely never to return. My ISP keeps making TV offers where they want me to "PAY" for the offensive commercials like Jill'ette? Pay for mental gymnastics like it's a health-spa? One would think after 14 years they'd get the message and stop wasting paper, ink, and postage offering me to sit and eat at their table of shit?

MGTOW are a force unstoppable! We're like motorcycles that filter around highway wrecks! Everything else stops but the motorcycle weaves his way through around the wreckage to get to where he's going!

This society has become mostly insane reckless drivers all doped up on the highway to hell!

Women and television are the two leading causes for unnecessary mental gymnastics and psychological injury!
