If MGTOW had an anthem ...

    What would it be?

I bet you've got your own notions, and there's plenty of room for them all - it's just bandwidth.

Whenever I hear this one, from my younger youth, it seems to convey the essence of MGTOW ...

    Deacon Blues, by Steely Dan:

"The Red Pill is the start of the journey, not the end." - Chairborne

"Our most dangerous enemies are men who have no loyalty to men." - William Noy

"I am not going to sacrifice my freedom and wealth for your ideals." - Primus Pilus

"If you can't be happy on you're own, you can't be happy -- full stop." - Wilfred

My introduction: I Was MGTOW When MGTOW Wasn't Cool...

    My blog: Beyond The Sunset

    60's MGTOW:

"A relationship with a real feminine, genuine (i.e. no games, drama, BS), sweet, kind, innocent, nurturing woman can be incredibly fulfilling. Or can it? Iíve never met one of these creatures."-Unknown

"Pre wall women have become insufferable, and there is no reason to suffer a post wall woman."-Zed

    99 Problems...?

I would have chosen the Original Ice-T/Marquis version, but it's more of a PUA anthem.

Tomorrow I'm making a MGTOW playlist of music that I perceive to be MGTOW, until then, Fake It by Seether.
In the end, I will always prefer to walk alone, simply because I enjoy the peace and freedom of my free will. -Me

Not really a MGTOW song ... but a quite realistic one regarding relationships to women.

Re: If MGTOW had an anthem ...

In the "Songs so Blue Pill that listening to them is a Red Pill" category: "Reelin' in the years", Steely Dan. The Beta Orbiter's anthem.

I spend a lot of money
And I spent a lot of time
The trip we made in Hollywood
    Is etched upon my mind
After all the things we've done and seen
    You find another man
The things you think are useless
    I can't understand
    Hahaha! Sucker.

A close second is "Drops of Jupiter", by Train.

And did you miss me while you were looking for yourself out there?
No, dude. She didn't miss you while she was on her world trip. She was waaaay too busy fucking.

and this list wouldn't be complete without "What a fool belives"

But what a fool believes he sees
No wise man has the power to reason away
    What seems to be
    Is always better than nothing
And nothing at all keeps sending him

Somewhere back in her long ago
Where he can still believe there's a place in her life
    Someday, somewhere, she will return

She had a place in his life
He never made her think twice

Re: If MGTOW had an anthem ...

Well..... if MGTOW is the rational response to the female condition & situation....
... a _behavior_ that i have repeatedly called the "duplicity of women" then this song "a thousand faces" is appropriate. Yes?

It doesnt hurt that the song is about morality, nor that it is sung by an all Male band (increasing the honor factor by an immeasurable factor)

This was featured in one of Sandman's videos, but this is pretty much the entire reason why we avoid relationships in roughly a minute and a half. Good stuff.

Oh, and if manginas had a theme, it would be this admittedly catchy number here:

If it's not your kind of music, I linked one with lyrics so you can just mute it and read.

I'd like to hear an anthem that did not mention females but talked of how inspired one can be, how able and confident one is, how accomplishing or fulfilling the next thing will help, and how strong the path one is on is now.... bla bla bla bla

In other words keep me on the path of freedom with open doors and important things to accomplish

Jade Michael and the FTSU Crew

    Lyrics

    Go my Own Way
Words and Music by Jade Michael

    VERSE 1:
We're through with being bred on blame
Used to wipe out all your pain
And we're through with holding doors
    Entitlements abound
You say that we still hold you down
    And you cop that attitude
    No remorse or gratitude

    PreChorus:
Cos' the time has come to fuck your shit up
The time has come to fuck your shit up
The time has come to fuck your shit up
Brother don't you ever give up

    CHORUS :
    Go My Own Way! (Repeat)

    Verse 2:
    You're obsessed with my ability
    I won't be your utility
    I'll never carry you
And I sure won't marry you
    You allege that you're abused
Stories told when you know you'll lose
But the truth is calling me
    And it's all I need...

    Pre Chorus:
Cos the time has come to fuck your shit up
Yeah the time has come to fuck your shit up
Well the time has come to fuck your shit up
Giving rise to all that's right, now

    Solo & Bass Break

On Friday June 15, 2011 Thomas James Ball self-immolated in front of the Chesire Country court building in New Hampshire. He committed suicide to bring attention to the misandry in the family courts. His death will not go in vein.

Yeah, the time has come to fuck your shit up
The time has come to fuck your shit up
The time has come to fuck your shit up
Brother don't you ever give up

I produce music, but it's all instrumental stuff. I thought about doing some lounge / do-wop stuff, but with a humorous angle...

    Blue Phill and the Beta-Tones.
It would be all cringe-worthy beta rationalization, pussy-begging, and ending up with the narrator (the singer) getting stepped all over. Song titles would be things like:

"Cause you know I got here first
"Those bad boys in your clique
"Don't get your kisses on the cheek
Though I heard they do get kissin'
But I'm the guy who'll listen
When you ask "where have all the good men gone?
But I know you'll come around.... In the long run!
Until then - I'm in Orbit! In Orbit!

But that feeling in my gut? I guess I'm just sick
Who knows? When it's time to pay the rent
I ignore the odds, about twenty percent
Since a real man takes responsibility
And I could never imagine another man than me
With my angel, my sweet illusion
It's the truth that you're abusin'
I'm the Baby Daddy! The Happy Father!
    That sort of stuff...

One of the greatest songs ever recorded. From back when you actually had to be able to sing and play your instrument well.

Runners-up, more specific to refusals to put up with women's shit:

Under My Thumb and Play with Fire (The Rolling Stones)
You Can't Do That (The Beatles)
    Hard-Headed Woman (Elvis Presley)
Ain't Got No Heart, Beauty Knows No Pain and Harry, You're a Beast (Frank Zappa)
    So Cruel (U2)
Tomorrow She Goes Away (The Ramones)
One More Minute (Weird Al Yankovic -- if you've never heard this one, you've gotta have a listen! Hilarious!)

    And, of course...

Go Your Own Way (Fleetwood Mac)!

While I'm at it, I'll name the anti-marriage comedy special of the decade thus far: FAR FROM FINISHED by BILL COSBY. The entire thing is a warning to young men to avoid marriage, with sad examples from Bill's own marriage. To keep the women from getting up and walking out, he throws them a bone or two -- "Now, I'm not anti-woman, but" -- I believe, however, that he felt the need to warn guys not to wind up like him. He paints an absolutely evil portrayal of the married woman.

I don't know... but I know that our Blue Piller friends have it "Nine to five" by Dolly Parton.
