So little "Miss Strong & Independent" apparently doesn't read any contracts she signs, and doesn't understand why the clinic won't cooperate with her. Now she is being treated like she "did something wrong," and feels like a criminal - Oh Goodness!

Wants a kid but doesn't want to lay with a man let alone provide a father for her child. Wants to know any hereditary illnesses kid may have (despite never wanting to deal with a man beforehand), so decides it's ok to breach confidentiality of sperm donor.

I've never donated through a company. Do sperm donors sign away their legal ownership to their sperm? Do these contracts actually transfer legal ownership of the sperm to these women, or do they just sell to the women the exclusive right to use the sperm while the sperm may still legally belong to someone else? I've heard that women have been able to track down the anonymous sperm donor for child support and I wondered how that is legally possible unless the donor retained legal ownership. Or has such legal chain-of-custody been thrown out the window?

I love the "living, breathing human being with hopes and dreams and people who love them" argument always used to try to wash away a crime with emotion. Yeah, so exactly like every other person and not special in any way. This is blackmail of the highest order which is why the sperm bank knows they have to put a stop to this or else they are sued to oblivion and they go out of business. But cupcake can't understand how a business is trying to protect their clients from harm like she is probing to do.

Indeed - so if she gets her way, then all ANYONE needs to do when they want out of any sort of binding contract is:
A.) contact the media
B.) point to your poor innocent children
C.) and cry like you were forced at gunpoint to sign said contract....

I guess they think or used to think they were helping out, not to mention they still get to pass their genes on. Both reasons always seemed stupid to me even before I took Red pill. Given the things I have read donations are down and breaches of confidentiality I believe are a big part of that. I think the other part of it would be that a lot of men don't have that "primal need" anymore to pass their genes on. It's been replaced with more interesting pursuits.

I worked with a guy who gave his sperm to a lesbian couple so they could have a kid. He is a Left wing nutter and I am waiting for that decision to bite him. He has kids with his wife as well. So one big mess.

Learned to avoid this back in the 70s.

I once opened up an account at a Sperm Bank, but soon closed it.

Heck, every time I made a deposit I lost interest.

Women are testing the boundaries because they know .gov funds will dry up. .Gov also knows that the funds will dry up so it is a game of musical chairs as to which man is left standing and pinned for financial servitude.

Gynocentrism creep is very real in that third trimester abortions aka infanticide is a contract women want to break out of. But if a man donates sperm he must be held liable to that contract.

So when society has two different contracts and parallel universes that men and women must abide by then what you have is two class of citizens. Women and then the rest (children and men).
