I just wanted to pop in for a sec and say this is one of the best threads I've ever seen on this forum. Man, it's good to know I'm not alone...

Human animals are strange. They build entire societies on perceptions - which are just elaborate lies.

Every day people trudge off to soul-crushing jobs to make the big money. Then, most of them dole out ALL of that money every month just for basic living expenses. Many of them have way more house than they can afford because the bank told them that spending 40% of gross (60% of net?) was what "everybody else was doing". The middle class have less and less buying power each and every year - cost of living raises do not keep up with inflation. Wages don't increase as fast as inflation does, so unless you're aggressively climbing a corporate ladder or running a thriving business, you're standing still. And standing still means you're getting behind.

Relationships are a lie. She wants security and feelz, and he just wants regular sex. Women are never happy, they are - by design - in a constant state of never quite happy enough. They are inherently entitled, solipsistic and privileged. They are inherently broken human beings. And the second the guy even hesitates to do everything humanly possibly to keep this 'unhappy machine' running, her legs slam shut and the parasite begins planning her exit to the next host. That's right, when she starts giving you her back at bedtime, you can bet within 2 years she'll be handing you divorce papers. Most men believe it won't happen to them, because after all - they've chosen wisely. (LOLOLOLOLOL). Blue pill bullshit in a black-hole sized pile, that is.

Women don't need men anymore - yet they still want to get married. They like to have a man around when they're too mommied up to be working. But once the kids are off the breast and in daycare, and she's lost the baby weight, she's back on the market. You're again competing for a woman, but this time, you're competing for your own wife or partner.

Marriage is a lie. "Work hard and be happy" is a lie. Smart men live on peanuts in developing nations, and read philosophy and write in the evening. Their hobby is the cost of a pencil and some paper. They can take pleasure in a sunrise, or a sunset. Smart men live on less. Smart men know that "more more more" is a very bad way of approaching happiness or fulfillment in life. Women are children - they just know iced cream tastes good, so more iced cream is most certainly better. But, it's not better. And trying to give them enough to be happy is a mathematical improbability. You can't give a woman enough for the same reason you can't divide by zero.

I once looked through the window at my gf place and its a fucking million dollar view of my entire city from the birds flight .

And the peaceful thought that everything i see was build on just a promise of a better life .

Someone just told a bunch of men that everything they build is gonna be theirs one day . And they kept building and building , and building ...

And everything was theirs ...the very people that made that promise

It's the only thing they have that I want.
Everything else I can get from somewhere or someone else. Pets, family, friends and learning to do shit on my own covers everything else.

It is sure is built on a lie. I think of all the men who went off to die in wars, being told they were securing the freedom of their children. Only for their children to then go off and die in wars because they were fighting for their children's freedom. I think we are now up to the point where you might have a young soldier in the Middle East saying, "Hey, didn't my Uncle, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather fight in this hell hole?"

Well , i said its sex initially but ...the girlfriend is slightly more about your status that you can get sex than the sex itself .

Humans want to be accepted with a status that is perceived as high .

So you dont have to explain yourself to anyone .

Thats why people buy cars or houses, or muscles they cant actually afford . So there would be no questions asked .

And when you dont have a gf or this, or that ...every fuck can start asking questions . And they will not be in your favor .

You need status for two reasons 1. " Friends" . 2. Enemies ...

Then you have the truly strong people. The ones who truly don't give a fuck. I think about the fable the "The tortoise and the hare" the hare is so cocky that he thinks he will beat the tortoise in the race. The odds are obviously in his favor the tortoise isn't built for speed. So the hare takes his time, sleeps and generally slacks off.

And the tortoise? He just does his own thing, he goes at his own pace and due to the the hare being such a dick he ends up winning in the end.

I think about that a lot. I am the Tortoise. I have seen so many people at work break themselves trying to get promotions, sometimes even getting promotions, I have even done it myself at one stage. They burn out, they try and please people who cannot be pleased and shouldn't be pleased. When I stopped playing the game I took a step back and looked at everything I have and everything they don't have. I looked at everything I don't have to worry about which they do have to worry about.
