Military officer's career ruined by rape accusations

    Hello everyone

I stumbled about a case of a military officer who got his career ruined over rape accusations.

When reading these things I'm in serious difficulties understanding people having faith in whatever justice system.
I will rejoice the day the whole fucking corrupt system will go down in flames I have no faith whatsoever left in mankind.
Jesus how do you deal and cope with a situation in which everything has stopped making sense . . . at least, to me it does. I've never felt happy and pissed at the same time that's a new sensation to me.

I stopped asking myself a long time ago why a person would do certain things that would destroy another person's life for no good reason . . . I've come to the conclusion that it is human nature to fuck each other over.

There are still loads of people out there that would never screw someone over like that. Try no to focus too much on the bad.

You are right Thomas! Unfortunately, we have become a minority in my opinion. There is no honor left. When reading about his story, it just made me once again clear how vulnerable I am to a ruthless system that can destroy me in a heartbeat and it makes me feeling angry and frustrated at times. Sometimes it is really difficult for me to feel indifferent to what is going around on me. It is hard to be completely detached and just observe all the madness.

You're right, it is hard. I've been getting better at it with age though.

Plus there is the bonus of Brexit and Trump which makes the wider world a little bit more tolerable to me. It's almost as if I fell into a parallel dimension of awesome some time in June last year.

All too often you are right. Too many people get off on being shit's. It's what I expect. But sooner or later someone gives you a random act of kindness that blow's your theory completely out of the water. It's a humbling experience, and don't ask how I know.

As for our Major friend, to hell with him, he's just another stinking officer that deserves whatever he get's. Sorry, Private frog couldn't resist. Truth is, it's half his fault for thinking he could screw around at work.

It's a bad idea, but I poked coworkers a time or two. I survived because nobody got pumped and dumped. That's the real reason our Major's career is in the shitter. Had he shown a little class, he might have got away with it. Or not, it's a dangerous game as ex Major Horndog just found out.

He was swimming in a shark tank with a piece of liver dangling around his neck. He was playing with fire after taking a shower in gasoline.

Didn't he realize that he was at the mercy of the post-Tailhook military?

    Don't shit where you eat.

Off-topic: I loved Zoolander. I still think that scene where Zoolander and Hansel resolve their differences was great. Something unmistakably masculine about it - address the problem, fix it, move on. No bullshit. The whole movie is very much about masculinity. The slapstick physical humour marks it as male.
