Life is Too Short to be Mad All the Time

    Good morning brothers,

I was just thinking about how fleeting life truly is. There is no much stuff in this world that is negative. The media pumps all of this garbage out that anyone would think that the world is burning. But if you go outside, the sun is shining and the birds are chirping.

Life is too short to be mad all the time. Do not worry about the things that you can't change. There are truly great things in life as well as bad.

Being serious all the time is worthless. There really are only a few things that are truly important. More than likely, they will fit on one hand. The rest of the minutia truly does not matter in the grand scheme of things. It is important to separate the truly important from the BS.

I bring these thoughts to light to add an aura of positivity to those who would read these thoughts. Please feel free to comment.

    Cheers,

Re: Life is Too Short to be Mad All the Time

Brilliant and timely post. I have of late thought about this topic a lot. From the viewpoint of being long over the rage part of red pill. I am past hating women for the ones that did me wrong. Being wiser and having more caution in my daily interactions I keep myself from the traps set by the ones looking for a wallet.

Would also comment on the media. I recently posted on another form to a guy who was a firm believer in an Trump economic collapse this is my response.-

"As a general rule human are pessimistic. Could even call it a default setting. Listen to the radio any time you hear an advert for a company selling gold or silver they pump doom and gloom, why it sells and people buy it.
I have been investing for years, have seen more market corrections then I can count. Still the market is has never even come close to the numbers when I started investing. Took me several years and lost money in panic selling on a down market to figure out it was always short term. In other words a buying opportunity. These days when I see a 500 point drop my hope is I have money set aside so I can buy.

The political element liberals/socialist pump doom and gloom like the only way to save the day is to hide in your bunker. Conservatives also do it some times but not as much.
Trump is over all economy policy. The liberals, aka most of the media hates it that he is winning the day. Turn it off do not listen, instead look about your own community. how many people look out of work, how are the smaller shops and businesses doing. I live in a state where by state law almost the economy is always going to be crap, the idiots in Baton Rouge can not get the tax code right. BUT, when I drive into work not a single strip shopping area has a closed down store front, the two auto mechanics are backed up with cars to work on in their lots. When I come home at night the grocery store and wally world parking lots have all kinds of cars in the parking lot. Even in this crap state of Louisiana the economy is steaming along."

That's why I don't watch or read the news anymore. The most important parts you get to know anyway. But most of it are things you cannot do anything about, so all it ends up doing is filling you up with impotent rage or paranoia. So why bother?
I used to be a very active reader of politics, economics etc. but now I just can't be bothered anymore. Whatever happens, happens. I'll deal with it when it happens. In the meantime I'll enjoy life however much I can. Fuck everything else.

I still read quite a lot compared with the average Joe. But not the news - I read about gaming, biology, pharmacology, philosophy, fiction (mostly crime or fantasy) etc. You know, actual beneficial knowledge and then just some stuff that interests me.

Thank you for your insight regarding this topic. I think both liberals and conservatives are guilty of the doom and gloom narrative.

I am tired of living in fear and will no longer do so. What kind of life do you have if you are afraid all the time?

    Yes! My sentiments exactly.

There is no reason to worry about the things that you can't change. Any one of us could walk outside and get hit by a car. It is then over.

I believe in moderation in all things. A time to sigh and a time to smile. A time to toil and a time to relax. Without one the other is meaningless. The contrast raises the value of both. Especially when you do make meaningful changes, if minute ones. For instance, I took some time to respond to a few guys on Youtube asking about MGTOW at one point. They didn't get it at first (unable to comprehend voluntary celibacy, so incel was presumed, common misconception). Now they do. Dunno if that dropped a red pill, but that felt rewarding, even if it was a little frustrating at the time.

But yea, remaining stuck in red pill rage too long can burn one out a bit. But that's nothing a good sense of humor can't sort out. Laughing at the ridiculousness of the state of the world is a very good way to unwind. Not like the current day world gives us a shortage of things to point and laugh at!

Re: Life is Too Short to be Mad All the Time

Everything I got I owe to hate. Hating my code and hating my creed.... Poopdeck Pappy.

Cant remember exactly, but the movie went something like that. Never failed to crack me up.

Having crappy parents, being on his own during the great depression, and nearly dying in a WW II prison camp, my father had more hate and anger on board than a dozen normal people. He'd a ended up dead or in jail except for two things. Mostly he didn't want to lose my mom, the only good thing that ever happened to him. But he also had the icy self control it takes to stay out of trouble when some unknowing idiot set him off. Most folks with nasty tempers can't do that, least not all the time. But he could.

I'm not here to argue that hate and anger are good for you. Their not. But sometimes they come with the territory. When I got a letter from the widow batshit after years of nothing, I was surprised to find that the old feelings, both good and bad were still strong after the scab was ripped off. So when things goes south, do your best and move on. Just realize your brains sneaky, and might be hiding something you honestly thought was gone.

Back in December 2015, when the malicious actions of a dried up ex-carousel rider caused me to lose my contract at a major energy company (should have run for a further 18 months or so), I was in a murderous blood lust to see her severed head hanging from the side of a gibbet.

Now I can't even remember her name.

Bullshit like that is like carrying around a bag of bricks everywhere you go. The best thing to do is just drop it to the ground and move on with your life. Life is too short to worry about the shit behaviour of others.

I don't get mad but more hurt by the unfair treatment. I look at it this way. All things must come to an end because people get caught in their own webs eventually.

Re: Life is Too Short to be Mad All the Time

Anger is a valid emotion for the young adults, especially young men if it causes them to look in the mirror and change their life for the positive. Also, it helps redirect all that energy into productivity for the self but if also desired productivity for their family and community.

To be able to move on from the so called rage about the true realities of this world one must be able to define it first and also acknowledge the existence of it all. The mainstream world does more harm by denying, hiding, and dismissing the rage of youth. Rather than lecture from a bully pulpit they should lend an ear of support which is why a lot of young men suffer in silence.

Destiny is something each man can partially control and raging about the other part of destiny that is not in your control is futile and pointless. Also, a lot of people have to learn the hard knocks of life on their own and the best way men can show they are truly free is showing what going your own way means.

With that all said I think the mainstream often misconstrues men talking openly about what true society is about as rage. In the end what I know what red pill rage to be is that it is coping with a harsh reality that was not taught to us as children as we are adults now. But the positive is that men's mindset is to move on from some of that rage and solve problems in a positive manner.

For me personally, my martial arts instructor always taught me that rage is going to still be there even when you are at the most tranquil mindset. This is because as my martial arts instructor said it the fire in your belly will never be extinguished as it is a great tool to accomplish many goals in life.

Expand on this a little. It was a lesson for me. When 0bama won the market was in a panic, for good reason and a lot of people sold, including me. 1. Was the 0bama economy crap? hell yea. 2 Did the conservatives say it was? yep.
That massive sell off was one hell of a buying opportunity I missed out on.

Conservatives are going to preach doom and it will for the most part be correct, it is just the resilient nature of people that keeps things moving along.

Re: Life is Too Short to be Mad All the Time

There's probably a hell of a lot more "positive" going on in the world than we realize, especially on (multiple) small scales -- I mean on personal levels that are outside the reach of our personal radars. But you never hear about those good things. News organizations, like all other businesses, have this as their primary goal: to stay in business. It isn't to report the news, and with most news outfits it certainly isn't to be accurate about it. No, instead it's to gin up negative reactions such as fear, sorrow, sympathy, resentment, hatred, and depression, using the news as the combustible to achieve those outcomes.

Human nature is sick, you see. Why? Because it's attracted to bad news like a pit bull is to a rump steak, and bored comatose by good news the same way I'd be bored by a two-hour talk on local fauna. Good news doesn't sell; bad news does. That's why we hear mostly the latter, and why we conclude that it represents accurately the reality of the world.

The last thing the plantation wants us to see is guys doing ok without female supervision. Move along, nothing to see here. It's bad for business.

I'm surprised the net don't have a hundred back to the plantation stories. There's no shortage of bootlickers who'd gladly write them. Shouldn't give them any ideas I guess.

Re: Life is Too Short to be Mad All the Time

Each time I log off my computer, the bad things disappear. I go to the store, gas station, and there is none of the drama until I log back into my computer. Only when I bring media to myself am I exposed to the negatives. When a friend of mine who is 75 years old said the news is too depressing so she doesn't watch it, at first I thought of an ostrich with its head in the sand but then I figured our lives are each our own and it actually makes great sense to avoid that which brings you down. Before the internet, I am sure there was much in the world about which I didn't know, plus I was younger and was distracted elsewhere, so I can't say that the world is any more complicated than it was before. And history was not kinder than today. Remember World Wars I and II ? Korean War? Berlin wall? War in Viet Nam? Pol Pot? Ayatollah Khomeini ousting the Shah of Iran and what they started? Inside the USA, how about the flu pandemic of 1918 and the JFK, RFK, and MLK assassinations? 9-1-1 ?

A pretty rough ride, I'd say.

Here are some names in news past whom I didn't pay attention to, really: Anwar Sadat, Menachem Begin, Konstantin Chernenko, Ceausescu, Yitzhak Rabin, Robert McNamara, etc. Many, many more. These are some of the names I saw in the newspapers when I was younger as I turned the pages without reading further, largely because I thought the situations would never end and I couldn't keep up with it all. Well, wait, the bigger truth is I wasn't interested. So, my head was in the sand, too. And that's ok with me, as I took in only as much as I could deal with. And that concept hasn't changed with me. I don't get myself down about things today.
The two most important days in your life are the day you were born and the day you find out why. - Mark Twain

The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation.

There are 10 types of people in the world - those who understand binary, and those who don't.

I am mostly disappointed with how things are in this world in general. Especially as of late media has been the bitch of the lefties trying to influence the masses to divide and concur us by sowing racism and other such divisive ideologies.

We somehow need to silence these socialists as even Russia has seen that Socialism doesn't work long term and ruins a country and society.

my grandfather told me at a very young age "boy, there is only one thing a woman wants from a man...... it's 6 inches long and has a head on it..... and its a dollar bill"
