Let me begin by saying that Im not sharing this to rain on anyone's movement. Less likely events have transpired after all, and nothing i'll share here should be interpreted to mean "give up". As men, 'giving up' isnt in our damn nature anyways.
So, we come to the grim truth-from where I sit, a mass reversal of the matriarchy we live in is Not Gonna Happen, short of some drastic calamity which makes worrying about Girl Problems hopelessly moot.If we're dodging armed bandits during post apocalyptic WW3, hypergamy's pretty low on the "current problems " list.
The reason among reasons why: numbers. For every one of us who gets unplugged , there are ten guys being released unto the world with fresh Matriarchial programming. Every day I walk around this college -hardly the most liberal of any of them, mind-and most every man I encounter is a walking appliance for the nearest female. To which extent varies by the individual-some guys are flaming accomplices to the Matriarchy, while others express deeply internalized schemas about relationships and "nice women/slutty women" categories whilst acting like players . Most guys are not only programmed to follow these rukes, but they're also hostile to the very concept that they may be at all.
With the common information mediums owned lock stock and barrel by the Matriarchy, getting the word out on MGTOW is all word of mouth and internet . Mediums easily discredited by the popular media; which is where most men plugged into the matriarchy get their news and their "social impressions" of how a man should behave.
Next reason- living free is HARD.
It is existentially difficult to live your life upstream, watching your words with women whilst guarding your true thoughts from your family and friends. Its psychologically painful on occasion to hold the truth so close to you, and know you can only share it with others across a computer screen. Not every man has the capability to do that-ive witnessed one man pull a Cypher and jump back into the Matrix after he knocked up a fat girl, and one of my redpill friends-the only one of the sort who I interact with in real life-is considering it due to his entire family and his friends outside of myself pushing him to wife up an LTR he's having doubts about.
Between those two forces, lasting change is unlikely.
