Why Lasting Change is Unlikely (vis a vis MGTOW)

Let me begin by saying that Im not sharing this to rain on anyone's movement. Less likely events have transpired after all, and nothing i'll share here should be interpreted to mean "give up". As men, 'giving up' isnt in our damn nature anyways.

So, we come to the grim truth-from where I sit, a mass reversal of the matriarchy we live in is Not Gonna Happen, short of some drastic calamity which makes worrying about Girl Problems hopelessly moot.If we're dodging armed bandits during post apocalyptic WW3, hypergamy's pretty low on the "current problems " list.

The reason among reasons why: numbers. For every one of us who gets unplugged , there are ten guys being released unto the world with fresh Matriarchial programming. Every day I walk around this college -hardly the most liberal of any of them, mind-and most every man I encounter is a walking appliance for the nearest female. To which extent varies by the individual-some guys are flaming accomplices to the Matriarchy, while others express deeply internalized schemas about relationships and "nice women/slutty women" categories whilst acting like players . Most guys are not only programmed to follow these rukes, but they're also hostile to the very concept that they may be at all.

With the common information mediums owned lock stock and barrel by the Matriarchy, getting the word out on MGTOW is all word of mouth and internet . Mediums easily discredited by the popular media; which is where most men plugged into the matriarchy get their news and their "social impressions" of how a man should behave.

Next reason- living free is HARD.

It is existentially difficult to live your life upstream, watching your words with women whilst guarding your true thoughts from your family and friends. Its psychologically painful on occasion to hold the truth so close to you, and know you can only share it with others across a computer screen. Not every man has the capability to do that-ive witnessed one man pull a Cypher and jump back into the Matrix after he knocked up a fat girl, and one of my redpill friends-the only one of the sort who I interact with in real life-is considering it due to his entire family and his friends outside of myself pushing him to wife up an LTR he's having doubts about.

Between those two forces, lasting change is unlikely.

For society wide yes you do have a point, the average guy is property of the matriarchy. This is due to the brainwash they received from day 1 of their time on earth. In that case why does MGTOW exist and for whom?

MGTOW is for the select few people who are smart enough to realize the lie that organized society is. Sure the guy who pulled a Cypher plugged himself back into the matrix but will he every be happy again? I doubt he will ever erase his RP knowledge and it will eat him for the rest of his life.

You might not be thinking in this context but we are the change, not society. As long as we can see through the bullshit and avoid its effects we win. It doesn't matter if we're a minority and society doesn't change, if we can be free and happy we win.

Remember MGTOW is like the special forces (Delta, Seals, GIGN, SAS, JTF2 etc...). We're elite, so there cannot be that many of us anyway.

there is yet another reason that you have not mentioned, i.e. pussy makes you stupid.
No matter how attractive a woman is. No matter how beautiful she is. Somewhere, out there, some guy is sick of her shit.

People usually do not ask themselves WHY they believe and do the things that they do. Most just ACCEPT whatever their society tells them about life in general.

    Religion
    Marriage
    career/job
    Happiness/fulfillment

The plantation wraps everything in a neat little box and puts a nice bow on it. Never QUESTION it.

I don't think the programing is as solid as it used to be, the internet and growing numbers of men speaking up are hefty mitigating factors.. throw in some life experience for the more stubborn and they don't last long lol.
True happiness is only found within, to seek it elsewhere will result in failure.

So? We're not activists. We're not advocating for change on the societal level. You're thinking of the MRAs down the block from here. We advocate for change on the individual level. Be the best version of yourself that you can be and all that.

Besides, if society did change, it wouldn't change our minds about anything. And even if we did live in a perfect utopia, there wouldn't be any red pill philosophy or MGTOW at all. We're doing pretty well, I think. Finally, society will change on its own. The matriarchy is overplaying its hand. Something will give sooner or later, regardless if it's caused by us or not. Till then, grab a beer and relax. First round's on me.

MTGOW is not so much a lever of change but a burr in the saddle, a thorn in the foot. A not so gentle reminder that not every man wants to swallow society's "load" anymore.

Ooohh - "a thorn in the foot" reminds me of Kipling's "A Pict Song."

How we can drag down the State!
We are the worm in the wood!
We are the rot at the root!
We are the taint in the blood!
And we are the thorn in the foot!
As Devil says, we are not activists. This is not a movement, this is a lifestyle like Japan's "herbivores." If you're "doing MGTOW to change the world," you're in the wrong church, dude. I'm here to share ideas for how to live my MGTOW life, and share (and often laugh at) reasons why Going My Own Way is the optimum way to live my own life.

I have my "gee-I-wish" moments. I have my "sour grapes" moments. But I spent this afternoon installing the solar panels, the wiring, the support struts, and the frame of my new "solar dodger" (spray-hood) on my "fiberglass mistress," and that's more significant and more satisfying than the "pissing and moaning about my TFL life" that many Internet-hacks attribute to MGTOW. I'm breaking new ground for "Hard To Top," the company who made the hard top I'm using as the basis for my dodger; and "eMarine," who sold me the solar panels, is likely to get some good out of my story as well.
